We took a trip here to throw a few games of darts on a Saturday early evening. I thought this place was pretty rad, after I ventured over to the board. Music was playing loud enough to have a good time and low enough you can still have a conversation. Green beans were awesome, fries were good. Our boy ate his lunch. So that was cool! Waitress was training a new hire. Which were both very polite attentive. Great place to eat in our opinion.
Great atmosphere to watch the games. Good selection of drinks. Wide variety of food. We always get wings and are never disappointed. Even with to go orders; they always throw extra in!
What an experience! TVs everywhere. We came from out of town, and they even had the Brewers game. Our waitress was super friendly, and as we were perusing the shot menu, she suggested the Piece of A$$. Good call! The men’s bathroom stall looks to be a tableau for local poets. Not sure who that Keke is, but trouble seems to follow them around. Highly recommended. Would return again.
Had to take my dad to the VA so we decided to stop here and have a late lunch. Glad we picked this spot. It's a pretty big place. The atmosphere was great and they have a pretty extensive menu. We ended up passing on the Taco Tuesday deal and went for burgers. If you like it hot, get the habanero jalapeno pepper jack cheese burger. Great flavor but will bring a bit of a burn. We ordered our burger medium, but sadly, they were still pretty dry.I had seen a picture of their bloody mary that looked amazing, but when we ordered 2, we were kind of sorry we did. First, they looked nothing like the picture and they were heavy with salt and spice. My dad couldn't drink all of his due to the salt.Between the dry burgers and the super salty bloody mary, I can only give it 3 stars. All in all, I would still recommend this place.
We stopped in for lunch yesterday and we were not disappointed. Wings were juicy and good size, can't remember what everyone else got, but the fry portions were out of site! I just couldn't eat them all... our waitress, didn't get her name, was very attentive and friendly ?
Chicken tenders must be from dinosaurs! Absolutely gigantic. Beer selection was spotty for a Friday night, but service was outstanding. My group was very happy.
I’ve ate here 3 time in the past month, once was takeout and every time food was cold. Employees were great but managers and owner are terrible. No hip hop or rap on their music box and when I asked, the staff member said the owner banned all African American music. I went in the kitchen (when I was looking for a manager) and it was filthy, there were clean dishes next to dirty dishes, the cooks were smoking while cooking. My friend had to wait an hour for his food and another friend got food poisoning from their food. Honestly don’t know how this place is still open.
Service was good. I had the buffalo chicken tenders and they were big but soggy. My wife ordered a burger that was cooked nicely to the temp she ordered. Kid had grilled cheese and a ton of fries. Overall have been before, will go back but don't understand why the music has to be as loud as it is.
Truman's Bar & Grill has an old school rock and roll bar feel, with a modern vibe. Loved being able to remotely control the jukebox with my phone and play only hard rock music. My girlfriend and I kept the music rollin' on overdrive.
Place was half full. Waited 10 minutes for waitress to acknowledge us. Then another 15 minutes for our drinks. Waited 10 minutes to order our food. Then waited an hour for the food to come out. I had the roast beef club. It was horrible- flavorless. The waffle fries were flavorless too. The music is also very loud so expect to yell if you want to have a conversation. On a positive note: there were a lot of tvs, the decor was nice, and there were pool tables and a few arcade games.
