The ambience is wonderful for a group dinner and the food was absolutely delicious. This was my second time at sycamore and the food and drinks did not disappoint. We had the fried oysters and beet salad as appetizers which were both very good. My husband ordered the scallops which were cooked perfectly and the flavors were amazing. We also ordered the ribeye, pork chop, and gnocchi. Everything was superb. Would definitely recommend for a great dinner and evening out in Columbia.
Our waitress really dampened the mood from her atmosphere, it was our 1st and last time trying this restaurant, food was great
Lovely atmosphere, great service and pretty good food.My chicken sandwich was huge and cooked very well. Appetizers were good and the fries were perfect. Wife says the ice cream was too boozy though (that's a her thing though) and we both thought the apples were undercooked. Overall a nice meal.
Came in town to see friends and a show at Rose Music Hall, stopped by here first. My 2nd time being at Sycamore and it was all fantastic. We had the Short Ribs, totally fantastic, the mussels were very tasty in a light white wine sauce, while we did try the Vegan Lions Mane Crab Cakes, they were not our favorite, however the Oysters and Creole Sauce stole the show! They were a true winner of the night. The service was perfect, the staff friendly and smiling, and it was really great to see the restaurant full and recovering after the shutdown. Will be back again!
Wonderful service, great food, and laid back atmosphere.
We enjoyed the ambiance the most. We had the clam chowder, Chris's Chicken Sandwich and the Pork sandwich. From the bar we had a chocolate coffee stout and their House Cocktail.
This is a lovely, intimate space. The atmosphere is on the more dressy side but has a casual feel. The servers are friendly, professional, and unobtrusive which is really nice when your occasion is more formal. The food is AMAZING and the bartender knows what they are doing. Recommend 100%.
The food is so good! We drive from Kansas City for special occasions! Give it a try. You won't regret it!!! Clam chowder is amazing ?
