We ordered chili Macs with extra sauce and beef on the side.. We got the chili Macs ice cold, no sauce and the spaghetti was in 2 giant clumps that you could not pry apart.. Not edible. The waiter didn't care. The manager didn't care. I had to insist They take it off my ticket because I could not eat it. My son poured all of the sauce and beef that we got in the tiny buckets on his trying to make it edible, hes a teenage boy and he could not force down more than 2 bites. We left and went across the street to Wendy's. More often than not I feel like I waste my money every time I go there. I have given this place more than enough chances, we won't be back.
We ordered 2 shakes and large fries. I asked a couple questions, received understandable information and placed my order. It was not a complicated order. In a couple of minutes another employee approached me/us asking about my uncomplicated order (I wanted my shake to be thin not thick) what did I want? Ok that was odd. If we have that much trouble remembering the order, write it down at the table!! That's the first step of the "castle crumbling". The order came out in a reasonable amount of time. My husband ordered a butterfinger shake and I ordered a chocolate shake and I wanted my shake thin. Bruce ended up with a reeses shake instead of what he ordered and my shake was thin enough. We had been eating for a couple minutes and a girl came out and said blah blah I brought you the wrong order. This is the correct one and left us each with an additional shake. Omgosh, another couple of minutes passed and she came back to the table again and took the shakes back away from us. No reason, no nothing!! I was pretty mad at this and I gave her my, "are you even serious?" look all the way back to the kitchen. I don't know if she was directed to do these things or if she acted alone. She needs more training to go through a situation like this. If it was the person in charge directing her, that person needs a lot of help with customer service 101!! Not a highlight of our day for sure and we will not bother to come back when we are back in Columbia. If I could leave zero stars that's what our real experience was.

If I could give this negative Stars I would. I just went to the steak and shake and usually I have decent experiences at least enough to get me to return every few months. Decided to treat myself this evening and wow it was a terrible idea to go to the location on Clark lane. Unfortunately I believe the person that I interacted with today was the manager which gives me zero hope for this location. She was obese had short red hair and looked like she was in her fifties. She discriminated against me for my food intolerance and spoke so fast and cut me off that I could not even get my order out. I had to correct her which did not get corrected in the system and then the poor gentleman at the window unfortunately gave me the incorrect order and had to fix the problem. She then came over to the window and gave me attitude telling me that I would have to wait additional time for asking for my meal to be modified due to my intolerances. I believe something needs to be done at this location if this person is in a management position. I highly suggest going to any other location and avoiding this one. Save your time and save your money it is not worth it they don't even fill up the fries and there was hair in my shake....
Great staff, great product though slightly overpriced. My complaint is the new and improved "Hunter Biden" inspired Coke straw that I received with my milkshake. The girth of this straw has an opening greater than our Southern border right now. Not only that if you don't finish your drink within 2 to 5 minutes the straw becomes a soggy wet noodle. Steak and shake, WT actual F.....
Fantastic service and delicious food. Our server Hailey was fun and friendly. I highly recommend the garlic steak burger. Very flavorful and the bun was very soft and well seasoned.

My son and I really enjoyed eating here. Clean restaurant, and prompt friendly service. Ingredients were obviously fresh and the food tasted great. Shakes finished off our meal, and they were fantastic.
Love the chili and the awesome steak burgers!
Always fast, friendly service. Burgers are always good and well priced. Fries sometimes not the hottest but still acceptable.
