What an amazing experience we had at Shortwave Coffee. The atmosphere the coffee and the staff were wonderful. Lindsay created me a custom, one of a kind teddy bear Cortada. OMG it tasted even better than it looked if you can believe that! Thank you Lindsay and Caroline for your excellent service and making us feel so welcome in your beautiful city. ❤️❤️☕️☕️

Too expensive for what you get. They also enforce their “no outside food/drink” policy, even though they don’t have hot food themselves - not the smartest business decision

My girl and my favorite place. Miffims and Lattes in proper cup.Thought for sure they were closed this morning, don't open until 8am. I love this place.

Nice out of the way coffee place. Was very quiet and peaceful when I was there. Good coffee.

Nice quit place.

Shortwave is my personal favorite coffee shop in Columbia. I love that you can have two different places to go and still get the same great lattes/drip coffees/cold brew etc.The alley offers a more cozy, underground feel and the bakery (located on 9th) offers more of an upscale, modern experience. Either way, you can’t go wrong—both locations have friendly baristas and great coffee!

Always can count on Shortwave for great coffee no matter what!

their chai tea is SO good. it's a concentrate, like most places in CoMo but it's definitely one of the best ones I've ever had. so much so that we asked what they used and plan to buy it ourselves. very nice and knowledgeable staff as well.

Sure, the coffee and environment are awesome, but as a former employee I can attest that they do not treat their baristas well. I was paid below minimum wage and the tips never made up for it. I was told I would get a $200 deposit and a raise if I stayed past 3 months, but I couldn't stand being treated poorly by the owner. The work environment was draining and I felt uncomfortable by some of the business practices.
