Probably my favorite Mexican restaurant in Columbia. I've been eating there for about 13 years. There are numerous menu choices, and food dishes are ample as well as tasty. Service is quick/prompt (puts some "fast food" drive-ins to shame). And the wait staff? Pleasant, accommodating, attentive. One complaint - it's on the opposite side of town from me.
Great place it was recommended by some local friends and they did a great job. The quality and portions of the food was great as was their margaritas. Staff was friendly and the place had a good atmosphere. Altogether two thumbs up for sure!
My husband loved his steak tacos. I had nachos with beans and cheese and had them add onions, peppers, and tomatoes. They were ok.
Well, expectations were Not met; especially after inquiring about the supposed dish of my order.Taco salad with gravy and whple, sliced tomatoes, Not what was discussed. Service was delirious poor...ignored twice as they rounded the corner and headed to the kitchen. Funny, they had plenty of time to kibbutz amongst themselves. ? Won't be back; maybe someone can suggest a good mexican place...so unimpressed with the area offering. Though, don't feel too bad for us as burgers and fries are available enforce....
Good food, good atmosphere, family owned. Had a great time! They have the thicker style chips, if you care about that sort of thing. Didn't ruin my dining experience though.
I have been a customer here for several years but never got around to making a review, Rio Grande has wonderful food and great service, their salsa is made fresh every day and their chips are always so good, their old style of chips were better but the new ones will do. The fajitas are always served fresh off of the grill steaming hot! Overall one of the best mexican restaurants Columbia has to offer.
The food is really good here, the menu is rather extensive, and the service has always been great, whether they're busy or not. Their salsa could be more flavorful, but I like the rest of their food.
Good solid Mexican restaurant! Chips are a little extra crunchy and the salsa is heavy on garlic but I enjoyed them none the less! My meal was good! I'd go back!

Best Mexican food I’ve found in the area. I’m from Omaha and have been looking for a restaurant to compete with Omaha restaurants and I’ve finally found one.
