Great stop halfway between KC & St. Louis. Tasty custard with plenty of extras and nice friendly staff! Will be making this stop again in the future!
The best place to get a concrete! They have a special menu with over 50 flavor combinations or you can create your own. They offer a variety of other ice cream treats as well.
This place is a gem. Great choices for concretes, and always hard to pick one. The Elvis Pretzley is my favorite.
I absolutely love Randy’s. I love the toppings & variety offered. However, I had an unfortunate experience on April 1, 2022. I arrived at the Randy’s drive thru at 9:40pm, and they closed at 10pm. I waited at the drive thru for several minutes without a response. I then pulled up to the drive thru window and confirmed that the close time was 10pm. I got out of my car and proceeded to ring the doorbell and knock on the window for the next 10 minutes without a response. There was a set of keys and wallet sitting on the counter and the lights were on. I saw movement from the back of the store, but no one came up to take my order. I called the phone and was sent to voicemail. As all of this was occurring, another car with 4 potential customers came to the drive thru window and left as they were also not served. I finally gave up, disappointed, and decided to leave. As I pulled away, I peered through the drive thru window and saw a teenage girl peeking her head from behind equipment in the back of the shop. I was extremely disappointed. I will absolutely be returning to Randy’s but I no longer feel confident in the consistency of the establishment.
I’ve had Andy’s here in town. I’ve had Ted Drew’s in St. Louis. I’ve had Custard Cup in Champaign, Illinois. I’ve had National and regional chains. This is the best. Get the Elvis Pretzley. Swap the vanilla for chocolate. Rinse and repeat. I’ve had it 100 times. There is nothing better anywhere.

A hidden local treasure! It's right down Broadway from Andy's. When Andy's has a huge line, Randy's doesn't! Do yourself a favor and skip the line. Head to Randy's. You won't regret it!
Randy’s is my favorite frozen custard place. I live in St. Louis and during holiday breaks me and my fiancé would drive to Kansas City to visit his parents. We always stop at Columbia and get Randy’s frozen custard, it’s like a tradition for us. I love their coconut concrete, so much better than Ted Drew’s.
My family loves their frozen custard. A must stop when in the area. Although I will yell you this place is a little hard to see from the road. They have a few small yard signs to point the way. The drive thru is in the alley or back of the strip plaza.
