Food was good and for a family of 8 they got everything right which is rare for us. The only thing that threw me off from a 5 star is the guy that was outside yelling so we didn't dine in. He scared our kids and we feel he should have been asked to leave.
A sincere thank you to the kindest employees working on 5/26/22. We were having a bit of a rough day and your warmth and kindness was outpouring! Way to go! Would certainly return. Food was hot and good.
This wins the groaner award. The drive thru appears to take one order, completes that order and then starts the next one. This makes the slowest drive thru ever. They are also frequently out of some popular item like the advertised special, dessert, once they had NO chicken or sandwiches!! They also seem to make an effort to be the rudest employees in fast food. Finally, do not ever take a bill larger than a $20. They cannot or will not accept anything higher than that for payment, even if your total would make it easier. Absolutely no bills larger than $20 and they will ask you to round your total up for whatever reason. It's definitely worth the drive to the other location or another restaurant all together. I wish I had only had this experience once but sadly they are consistent.
I love this restaurant, but the day I went it seemed like they were out of almost everything except chicken and mashed potatoes and fries. They was even out of theSweet tea. But over all it's a good place
Order a 6 pieces nugget kids meals. And a 10 pieces meal. Not difficult to remember the chicken. Got 9 pieces of chicken and no nuggets. Maybe if they weren't all just talking to each other and do there Jon maybe my kids would have his nuggets
We did a chicken strip challenge with 11 restaurants. I figured Popeyes would win hands down. The chicken strips were mediocre at best. For a place known for having chicken, their strips did not even beat Arby's.
I showed up about 20 minutes til close on a Friday night. I ordered popcorn shrimp and the last mac and cheese they had. It was so fresh and the service was wonderful.
I don't know if service could possibly get any more rude. The person at the driv-thru window never said a single word to me and was completely rude. Fries were old and the chicken tenders were not flavorful. I've had Popeyes on occasion and some experiences have been pretty good, but after the rudeness of staff and mediocre chicken, I'll spend my money elsewhere. I suggest you do the same.
I went to this place the other day, I went inside since the drive thru was taking too long. Once I went in I still had to wait in line for about 15 min to put in my order. I put in my order and waited 45 min for my food and once I got my food it was black because the grease was old they decided to change the greese right after they gave me my food. They were out of drinks and straws!! What kind of fast food place runs out of straws? ? The service was horrible and I RECOMMEND NO ONE GO TO THIS POPEYES!! And make the trip to the Southside Popeyes bc u will never have these problems over there! It was so disappointing and I don't want anyone else to have that horrible experience.
Every single time I have been here, whether for myself or DoorDash, the girl on the headset at the window is HORRIBLY rude. So disrespectful, I have heard her yell at people who order something the restaurant is out of, she has yelled at me to “PULL UP” after not even responding to my order. She is honestly the absolute rudest employee I have met at any restaurant. I have worked in food service myself for many years and could not imagine speaking to a customer that way. It’s enough to make me never come back for myself.
