Really good coffee and a lot of cats in need of some love.
I went here on a coffee date and there weren't any other customers at the time. I tried petting a few of the cats, but one of the workers awkwardly stayed in the room and kept calling the cats over to him, stealing all the attention ? bizarre. Everything seemed overpriced for the quality/asthetics of the environment. They need to find a way to make this place more cozy. I didn't plan to rate a 1 star until months later when I tried calling and the woman who answered told me they were too busy and hung up on me. What's the point of answering.. Really strange behavior and I feel irritated by how the staff treated me both occasions.
This place is an absolute delight, as a feline lover this place is a little price of heaven, lovely affordable prices on coffee and a really good deal, if you make a reservation, you get one free drink that is 4 dollars or lower, all the cats are super friendly, some are shy but they do come around, they're all very playful though. (My favorite is Ms. Larry, the one with the blue collar and a little white flower). If you have time and are not afraid or allergic please go venture into this place. All of the cats are available to adopt as well. The staff members are very nice, and they have funny souvenirs/mementos. KEEP ME UPDATED ON MS. LARRY PLEASE!!
Our first visit to Papa's will certainly not be our last. The Cafe serves a variety of warm beverages to take in with you to play with the cats. The Cafe is extremely clean, with no "cat smell" to speak of. My daughter has allergies to some cats, and even with her playing with all of the cats for the hour we were there, she didn't have any allergic reaction whatsoever which I attribute to the clean environment. The staff is all extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and we are so thrilled thay we were able to adopt our kitten, Cocoa, after our visit ar Papa's. I can't wait to take the whole family back for a visit.
I'm from out of town and away from my kitties. It was so nice to sit and have coffee and play with the cats. I will definitely go back! It was super clean and the cats looked well taken care of.
Maybe my favorite place in Columbia. Great cats, great cause, great atmosphere, great coffee. It is a great place to relax. I even adopted my cat from here. It's hard to leave once you go. The friendliest cats as well. They even have cats who are FeLV positive, kept away from the others of course, occasionally to help spread awareness and find a furever home. Please consider going! The work they do is important.
A wonderful place to hang out, read, and experience cats! Papa's also does a wonderful service to the community and catdom by finding caring homes for homeless felines.

My daughter went to a birthday party there and the kids had a blast. They definitely wore the cats out. The cats were very well behaved.
It’s our first time to this place the place is clean and my kids enjoyed petting the cats . The two old ladies in the front desk were too nice. My kids start to play with the cats including my two year old who was very excited petting the cats , there was a girl who was working there with a short brown hair, in the end she asked us VERY RUDELY to leave the place because our 2 year old was screaming, while we are picking our stuff she start to screem at us and basically she start fighting with us. FIRST AND LAST time going this place. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND THE WORST TREAT TO A CUSTOMER.
