This place is LEGIT! The fried fish and Ocra is to die for, as is the Mac and Cheese. If you like soul food, check this place out!
I’ve been eyeballing this place forever, mouth always watering with their posts and just never had the chance to get there to try it. Well today I finally got to try it and let me just say I’m kicking myself for not going sooner! Man have I been missing out! I called in a to go order and got the 1 piece catfish special with 2 sides. They said 10 min I was there in 9 she was bagging it up as I walked in. It was hot fresh crispy on the outside, so moist on the inside and the flavor is out of this world! Hands down the best catfish I’ve ever had! The fried okra was just as amazing as well as the creamy Mac and cheese. I didn’t catch the girls name who helped me but she was so sweet on the phone as well as in person. I’ll definitely make it a point to come back and try literally everything on your menu as soon as I get that chance! Thanks for an awesome experience Papadoo’s!

I’ve been here several times and have never had a bad meal. Everything is fresh, delicious, and the portions sizes are HUGE. The owner is always super nice too. Would recommend anyone to eat here for some real home style southern comfort food.
I would look elsewhere if you are looking for a place to get food catered. Two weeks ago, I spoke on the phone with the owner to get 75 wings, catfish, and a pan of spaghetti catered for 10/29 at 1PM which I paid almost $200 in advance (BIG MISTAKE)! I go to pick up my order at the schedule time and it’s not ready. A gentleman at the counter tells me it’ll be about 20 minutes and that the owner tried texting me to see what time I needed the order (never received a text!). 20 minutes goes by and my order still isn’t ready. The cook tells me that something is wrong with their stove so he’s unable to get the spaghetti ready. It’s now 1:30PM, the owner calls me (never comes out to speak to me directly) and apologizes and states that my order won’t be ready until another 20 minutes and be offers to deliver it to me. I declined. Why would I trust you to deliver my order if you can’t even get it done on time? I told the owner that they need to have it done by 2 o’clock and I’ll be back myself to pick it up. Mind you that this was for a surprise party so I have guests arriving and I’m not there to finish any of the decorations. The owner calls me after 2PM and states that my order is finally ready. He said that he had another catering order and that my order was not placed in his calendar (so you don’t value my time or money). I asked for a full refund for my order and he stated that he would only give me a refund for the pan of spaghetti. THIS IS MY FIRST AND LAST TIME doing business with Papadoos. They don’t value your time. They just care about getting the advanced payment. Please do NOT pay the full amount in advance. Mind you I had items catered from Sophia’s as well and my order was ready ON TIME and they even had a private event they were hosting at the time of my pick up. Black businesses and their work ethic needs to do better. The food is not worth the headache, stress, and money.
papadoos catered a party for us. Food for thirty delivered in a timely manner. absolutely delicious -- catfish wings green beans mac and cheese potato salad. The prices are so reasonable and the people are easy to work with. We will eat there again -- and soon.
