Came here with a few colleagues to celebrate their graduation. Service was great and good was good enough. I especially enjoyed the margaritas ?
First the service was very slow and we were there at 4:30 in the afternoon. Then chimigangas were extremely bland. It was like eating plain bolied chicken in a chewy tortilla. Absolutely no flavor at all including the Mexican rice. The Tacos Locos had good flavor on the chicken but too much lettuce and again, the rice had no flavor. The only good thing was the Desserts. The chocolate lava cakes were rich and gooey and the sopopilla was well balanced with sugar, cinnamon and honey.
Took two hours to get food..and the food was cold. As in literally felt like it was pulled out of a fridge
Great service, lovely view outside on the patio, and amazing food and margs. I would definitely recommend!
My grandson and I arrived at 2:15. Waited 20 minutes to be seated although there were plenty of open tables. Only two servers working so we had to wait until a called-in server arrived. She was terrific and earned every bit of her tip. Once our order was placed, another 30 minute wait for our food. I ordered enchiladas supremas, my grandson ordered the oriental shrimp. Honestly, I ordered the enchiladas to compare to what I created last week. Mine were better. The entree comes with four enchiladas--cheese, chicken, refried beans, and ground beef. The whole plate covered with shredded iceberg lettuce, diced tomatoes, and sour cream. The enchilada fillings were bland with no Mexican spices at all; there was maybe a smear of enchilada sauce, and no guacamole. Okay. But for someone raised on Tex-Mex cuisine, this place disappoints. My grandson described his shrimp and vegetable combination as edible but bland. They were generous with the shrimp. This was my third visit to this location since it opened and nothing much has improved. Blah, not bad but nothing memorable.
We sat outside which was nice. That is where it ends. Waiter never smiled and barely spoke. Food was served quickly and cold upon delivery to the table. Grilled chicken tacos were dry and spicy but otherwise terrible. The corn tortillas that they served them on were so old that you couldn't pick them up with your hands. No wonder they served them flat. Black beans were straight out of a can with no seasoning. That should tell you all that you need to know.
Real good food at a great price but be prepared to wait at your table for dinner. They are a little slow. But it is well worth the wait!
I picked up food to take home for our evening meal. My taco salad shell tasted like dish soap. I tried the other side side of the shell and it was the same thing. I expected bubbles to start coming out of my mouth it was so strong. Yuck!!!! I won’t be going back.
It's my first time eating Mexican food. My son eats hamburgers very well. The combination of meat and vegetables is very good and delicious. I want to come back next time.
Good service, food comes out quick, but I would not call it authentic Mexican food, which is fine. It is what it is. I always enjoy my time there. Good atmosphere as well.
