Their pasta sauce is the best! Could be a little cleaner around the edges. Great service.
Ordered the Top Sirloin, first time it came out it was cooked perfectly in the inside but bland and had just a burnt taste, they offered to remake it on the flat top and it came out way bloody. We told them and pretty much just got offered to throw it back on the grill. Our kids at this point had been done and we were ready to go. It would’ve been thoughtful to just been offered to have something else made to go or a discount. Then they just ignored us at the checkout after they asked again how everything was. We love it here. My teenage son when I suggested Jimmy's said Yes right away. You can get many kinds of food here. Burgers, my son had the salmon.
Jimmy's is always a good place to eat. The food is great and the service is amazing. You're always welcomed like family when you come in and you will always be taken care of very well when you're there!
We were visiting from KC. The server, obviously one of the owners, was very nice. The food was…not. The cook was sitting at a booth when we came in watching judge Judy while wearing gloves. I watched while he went into the back. I did not see him change his gloves after sitting at the table and playing with his phone. I could be mistaken.I work in a kitchen and being able to see into their open kitchen, I was worried about the untidiness. I really wanted to like this place. All the food clearly was cooked from prepackaged frozen foods. Not worth it at all. So sorry.
Jimmy's is hands down our family's favorite steak house in Columbia! The food is delicious, the prices are reasonable, and the service is always good. Husband loves their steaks and loaded baked potatoes, I love the salmon and steamed vegetables, and the kids clamor for the spaghetti. As a mom with young children, I also appreciate that they have milk on the menu. Also, they offer an amazing side salad with entrées for just $1.59. I don't know if Family in the name is a reference to it being a family run business or a reference to it being a business that welcomes families, but they manage to do both things incredibly well!
