We just stopped in for a few drinks to see what the hype was all about. It was clean and the service was good. I can see why it's a college kid favorite!
Horrible service. Food sits in the window until it’s cold. Over charges or mixes up names for tabs. Least favorite bar in Columbia Mo.
It wasn’t slow service it was NO service. Waited 15 minutes, went to servers station, “we’ll be right there”. 5 minutes later got manager, blank stare, didn’t care. Screw this, never again.
Had a very poor experience here, one bartender was literally forcing me and my friends out after 10 below closed, he was shouting things at us asking us to talk bad on him just so he’d have some excitement because he “just wanted to go home to eat ramen noodles”. I’m a regular here but wouldn’t be surprised if I never came back
My son took me out with the boys. Awesome experience. On football Fridays the Mizzou marching band made an Impromptu visit, played a few songs and fired up the crowd . Never seen that before. Drinks reasonably priced. Staff friendly and quick.
We always have a great time at Harpos on gameday!
I would give it -1000 stars if I could. They stole my real drivers liscence and kicked me out. Absolute losers. Harpos is the worst bar in Columbia and every mizzou student is boycotting and going to willies instead. Get your stuff together harpos.
Was charged $12 for a $4 drink, explanation given was when you pay by card you automatically open a tab and if you don’t close it by the end of the night they charge you a minimum $10 and on top of that 20% gratuity(wonder if that’s for the slow service and long wait by the bartender when the bar was quite empty) and they have signs posted all around the Bar which I couldn’t find. Well that’s one less place to go out drinking.
The ultimate Gameday experience!I’m very proud to see the progress that my former stomping grounds has made in the last few years. The food, service, and overall atmosphere have all come leaps and bounds since I was last in Columbia.I can only hope the Tigers have a reason to bring the goalposts at Faurot Field back to their rightful home, at Harpos Bar and Grill!!!
Great atmosphere after the game. Obviously, since there were 1000 people there. If you don't mind waiting for a table and enjoy hanging out with friends, this is a place for you. The nachos were excellent, and for the amount of people there, our food order came quickly. Would definitely go back.
