Nice place. Food was good and the wait staff was nice and just the right amount of attentive. Prices were too high for me but I’m a social worker…
Absolutely amazing food, prices are outstanding, service is excellent.
Holy cow!!!! This was phenomenal. Had Sea Food Fondue for the appetizer.. Wife had Free Range Chicken and Jalapeño Wafles. I had the Vegetarian Plater and the 8 once Filet ( I know...but I need to eat more veggies). The service and atmosphere is great and the prices are reasonable. This is one we will be coming back to on a regular basis.
The food here is wonderful and surprisingly, it's never too crowded. This is a great romantic restaurant
I wanted steak for dinner, so my boyfriend called a few places and this was the only place with no wait, that is how we ended up here. It's a Friday night about 8pm and they were not busy at all, we were 1 of 3 couples that were there. The dining room is very small, maybe 10 tables. There is a fire place in the corner and lighting is a little low so it's more of an intimate setting. Each table is covered in a table cloth with a candle on top.Service was slow. We weren't given a drink menu when we were seated and a list of non-alcoholic drinks are not listed anywhere. It took at least 10min for a waitress to even come over with a drink menu. (remember theres only 2 other tables and both of those are being tended by another waitress). The first 4 bourbon shots my boyfriend ordered they didn't have and when she finally did bring his drink-it was the wrong one.I ordered the kc strip and it was juicy and it had amazing flavor, but not very tender. The side on all meals is the veggie of the day or you can upgrade to a different side....even cost more for fries. My boyfriend ordered the salmon and upgraded his side to macaroni with lobster. He did not like the macaroni at all and there was maybe 3 small pieces of lobster in it.All in all it was a good meal, we will go back at some point because it was a good experience.
The steak and service were fantastic. I cannot wait to go back!
This is the best kept fine dining experience secret in Columbia Missouri. If you haven't eaten here you haven't enjoyed Columbia's finest.
The Cru has great food , great staff and I enjoy chatting with George and Mariel. Very welcoming and relaxing environment.
Waitress no our preference. Unless they are new. Always friendly.
The service from our waitress was fine, but grand cru has expensive prices for caferteria style , flavorless food. The prime rib was the toughest prime rib I've had in America and literally was not edible. Not sure about the rest of the food on the menu as we won't be going back. Moreover,, the ambience was bad as they haven't changed the place or decor since it opened in the 1990's. Don't waste your time or money for really subpar dining and food experience. Not sure how they can keep the doors open. ☹
