The best meal I've had in over 10 years. Every single morsel was outstanding. The cooks were fantastic. The vast array of pies was amazing. The atmosphere made me feel like I was back in NY. I would absolutely recommend this place above all others!!!
The BEST place to get a steak in Columbia! We eat there every year during State FFA Convention. They are always so polite and make sure every FFA member feels welcome. The service is remarkably fast without compromising a high quality meal.I highly recommend G&D's!!!
Discovered this place through family many years ago. I live 2 hours away now but we almost always stop by when going through Columbia. The steaks are a great price with a large selection of cuts and sizes. They are always cooked just the way you want it and served up fast. I've never had a bad experience here.Update in 2022.Went back again. Family of 3 had a steak each for $57. Was just as good as I remember. Still our first choice in Columbia if I'm not in a hurry or being really cheap
Good steak and worth the hour wait due to all the schools for FFA eating here for state competition! I recommend the G&D special (8 oz sirloin, baked potato, and Texas toast). You can also get a dessert and drink to go with it at additional cost! Best steak I had in Columbia.
This place is amazing in every way, the food is perfect, so is the customer service. It is also cheaper than mast fast food places. If you don’t know what get I would highly recommend the Philly cheesesteak or double cheese burger.
Quaint little place. Food was excellent. Steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Friendly staff. My 18 year old son said we will definitely be going back!

I made my first visit on a weekday for lunch based on positive comments. I arrived at about 1:30 in the afternoon. The staff are friendly, the food was good, but if you're a clean freak this is not the restaurant for you. I used the men's room and it ranks among the filthiest I have ever used, except maybe for a gas station. I ordered a gyro salad, essentially a very nice Greek salad with sliced gyro meat on it. It was very clearly made fresh to order and it was delicious. All in all I would return to this restaurant if I were in the area and I would return because of the food.
Food is ALWAYS GREAT! Steaks are always cooked perfect. It's the ONLY place we go to eat steak. No one else comes close to G & D!
They're very friendly people. Always fresh food and they're fast. 10/10!
