Was a little apprehensive reading about “small plates”, but actually very good food and large quantities. Not a large menu, but enough choices for all and a plentiful beer and wine menu. Website asked for reservations, but they seemed to have room for walk-ins. I will return.

I've been to Flyover at least a dozen times and each time has been very good. But this last visit stands out because of the (1) accommodating staff, (2) super attentive server, (3) perfectly cooked pizzas and Midwestern Carnitas (always a winner!), (4) the best dessert ever. Seriously, Flyover hit it out of the park with their current dessert offering: an apricot and orange bread pudding with a dark caramel sauce, pistachios and black lava salt. I love desserts and this one is my favorite EVER, ANYWHERE!

We began with inventive alcoholic and non alcoholic cocktails before sharing a terrific salad. My mushroom ragout was wonderful and plentiful. We both took home leftovers. The bartender certainly is in his element here and seemed to enjoy putting on a show. Perhaps the only negative is the crowded lack of ambiance

My daughter and I enjoyed a wonderful meal in casual attire at the Flyover. We split an ample sized Caesar salad. Heavy on the dressing, so if you are concerned, then request it on the side. The “Mi Pizzi” Pizza was delicious with the toppings and with the soft fluffy crust according to my daughter. I chanced on the Midwest Carnitas and was pleased. The mix of salty meat and sweet potato purée balanced each other. The bacon roasted hominy added some texture. We consumed beverages of choice to compliment our dinner. I would suggest making table reservations since the venue is comfortable but smaller. Otherwise, the bar has seating which is what we used. I have been traveling to Mizzou (from MN) these past 4 years and I am thankful to have found this establishment. Sadly, this is my last trip since she graduates (Spring 22). This should have a higher placement on the TA recommendations and I wish I would have found this venue sooner.

I knew very little about Flyover since I'm not a local. First time there, I flat out fell in love with the genuine friendliness and excellence of the staff. Oh the food? Scrumptious!! The cauliflower, the carnitas, their pizza, any pasta dish... real creativity with a trip to flavor-town. Did I mention the staff? Ya, I was so impressed, I brought my husband in and then my mom when they visited me. Shout out to all of Flyover and my amazing landlady who initially told me about the place. Also, sitting at the bar for the most amazing drinks is a necessity. Flyover is a must; sure miss it.

The food was fantastic! We were looking for something new, different, and unique this is it. I don't mind paying a little more for great food and this fit the bill. Our server was great, informative and attentive. We will definitely go back especially, since some of the dishes on the menu are always changing. If you appreciate a chef that can put ingredients together in a fabulous way this is for you.

Absolutely a must, our server was great and the food was spot on, the duck was cooked to perfection, it is a family style serving menu so you order what you want and it is bought out as prepared by thier first class Chefs. They have a great drink menu and the atmosphere is very upscale. I would highly recommend getting a reservation as this place fills up fast and for good reason!! Thank you Dan and your fine team for being such a great spot to enjoy great drinks and fine dishes!!!

Had a wonderful evening here. The fried cauliflower was ....amazing! Take a moment and take a mental load off with the CBD Collins. Only question is what's with the oddly long tables?? You almost need someone to deliver your conversation via messenger. Still 5 stars?

SUPER disappointing. Deserves 2.5 stars only because of the unique drinks and bartender's great service. The food was truly awful. I shared the mac and cheese (sooo extremely salty) fettuccine bolognese (basically just noodles, with maybe 3 oz of meat in it total and zero sauce) and the duck breast (from a tiny baby duck, it was maybe 7 small bites of duck total). I paid 100 dollars total for all this with 2 drinks, and i had to eat more food at home because of the tiny 25 dollar duck and plain fettuccine. I do not understand the "hype" of this place.

Good service and interesting food. It’s an experience, and needs to be shared with at least 1 friend, but perfect with 3 friends as you are encouraged to share food. I tried the parsnip purée that came with the chicken and found I liked it.
