We were in Columbia for a few days so went to TripAdvisor (where else??) for some restaurant reviews. I'm so happy we chose D Rowe's! Initially I couldn't decide on whether I wanted a burger or BBQ. The server was excellent and told me they were known for their brisket. So I ordered the BBQ sampler. It was all excellent - just TOO MUCH!! She was right thought - I should have just stayed with the brisket although the sausage was amazing!!!

Horrible horrible horrible service! We had the rudest waitress imaginable! She would roll her eyes everytime we asked for anything or had questions. We heard her talking bad about other customers and how much they tipped. And as we were leaving we noticed every other table got free cookies except ours.Same girl was also rude to the older ladies behind us which was upsetting. My food was actually incorrect also but I didn't care because it was still good. The guy that brought our food out was great. He was attentive to the fact that our drinks were empty and brought us the condiments we requested. And he was polite. Had he been our server things would have been great.

The food and service were great. It has a nice neighborhood feel to it. I will definitely go there again. We thought the fried portabellas and rueben sandwich were tasty.

Got the BBQ Brisket Burger. Good size and good taste. Having come down there on a visit I found it's location and exterior a little perplexing, not in a bad way, just a little random. That being said for and service were good and would go again and recommend.

Everything about this restaurant is wonderful. Former MU Tiger football player, David Rowe, and wife Meghan have created an atmosphere that is warm and inviting. The bar is a comfortable “Cheers-like” area, yet the entire restaurant is very family friendly. The food is consistently great with the smoked wings, ribs, Portobello mushroom fries and the ginormous baked potatoes being crowd favorites. The catfish sandwich is terrific too! The portions are huge. We never leave there without taking home plenty of leftovers. Daily specials for both lunch and dinner are offered.

My husband and I have been coming here for years! He loves the bar and draft beer options. I love all the food options and I usually have something different every time cause it is all so good especially their rotating soup options! Staff is easy to remember because they are excellent and have been around for many years ???

Cold rainy Friday night visit with family. Arrived at 5:30, 20 minute wait and promptly seated. Kitchen was slammed so we waited almost 30 minutes for our appetizers of spinach artichoke dip and potato skins. My grandson, his girlfriend and myself could have eaten a gallon of the dip. It is that good. So were the potato skins. Myself and the girlfriend ordered pasta, mine was with broccoli, chicken, tomatoes, and mushrooms in a creamy, VERY rich alfredo sauce. She had the penne pasta alfredo. My grandson ordered the chicken tenders with broccoli and green beans. Unfortunately, he failed to ask about whether the green beans were cooked with onions. They were and he is allergic so they weren't touched. We all left with to go boxes. There was no indication on the menu that the green beans contained onions. This lack cost dinged them on from a 5 to a 4. Otherwise everything was excellent. Our waitress was unobtrusively superb. Water and tea glasses were refilled as needed and plates were taken away as needed. She checked on us and explained the wait for appetizers and I noted the name but it has escaped me. She earned every dime of her 20% tip. I didn't see any desserts listed on the menu so I am not sure of whether they are served. The cost of the meal, tip included was $83. Nice evening out. Be sure to make a reservation, especially on a Friday night. This place is pipular for a reason.

I made last minute reservations for my daughters birthday & arrived to a packed restaurant. They immediately took us back to our set-up & waiting table of 12. Wonderful service, super accommodating with super friendly staff, and some of THE BEST food in CoMo!! We frequent often & it’s always a wonderful & enjoyable experience.

It was good food, good service, good experience. Our server was friendly and attentive without being annoying. We’re glad we stopped in.

Went here at a friend's recommendation who lives here. Place was crowded but service was fast and good. I had a bowl of French onion soup, the soup Was good but they used salad croutons and not a nice toasted bread. I also had half smoked and half Buffalo wings with blue cheese dip. The wings were very good and would order them again.
