Local seem to really it here. I had the pulled pork and it was very tasty. Wasn't impressed with the macn cheese, potatoe salad, or portobello fries. Service and cleanliness was average. I will go back to try other things.
Excellent BBQ. I am partial to pulled pork. The husband likes their ham and turkey. Good portions. Their home-made chips are thick and crunchy. Sweet potato fries are good too. Staff has always been friendly and helpful with suggestions. It's a little off the beaten track depending on where you are headed but definitely worth the trip.
I don’t understand a $7.00 gratuity for 2 side takeout orders. This should have been mentioned. Otherwise, the food is delicious! I would give 5 stars but I feel duped by this add on charge!
Such a phenomenal restaurant. The meat is always super tender and the BBQ sauces are to die for. Everything is so authentic and fresh and you know it by the big smoker on the back patio. Incredible food, good price, great service. If you're visiting Columbia, make sure you stop here!
Pro: Delicious all around! Great atmosphere too.Con: I will say, as a wheel chair user, none of the "new" tables are wheelchair friendly. I'm in a small manual chair too and couldn't get under the new ones because of how the legs are setup. From now on I'll probably just order out.Edit: Thank you for the reply. Went today with my daughter great staff and food was good. I had the Brats, yum
Stopped for supper, party of four fluffy people. We weren’t sure at first cuz it looks like it’s part of a gas station. But we decided we were here so we would give it a shot. We all got something different so we could try a little of everything. I took one bite of my ribs and immediately ordered a full rack because there was NO WAY i was sharing mine!!! They were literally fall-off-the-bone tender. Everything was super tender and juicy. All four of us were very full when we left and still had to take some home with us. The price for all of us was also extremely reasonable! I did feel like our waitress was not as attentive as she could have been, but was not the worst I’ve had. We will definitely be back!

In the world of BBQ the sketcher the place looks the better it tastes! Como Smoke and Fire is no expectation. Next to a gas station with very little parking is a restaurant built with what looks like big box plywood and a wonderful HUGE bar.Along with all of that is some of the best damn BBQ you will ever eat.They have an extensive menu with lots of options including hamburgers, pulled pork, ribs, brisket, turkey etc ...If you are like me if you need the sauce you need to eat somewhere else. Como is no exception the flavor is too good to need anything else....although there are sauces available for the sweet, spicy or otherwise inclined.Hard to spot so put it in your GPS to get here but inside is huge and there was absolutely no wait. Quick as a hiccup and amazing homemade chips to boot ...... What are you waiting for get going and get there....
It smells great from the outside. The place is clean and bathrooms are decent as well. The service can be a little slow at times and the times I've visited I've noticed the ribs to be a little drier than I like. The brisket is a little better than average. The mac n cheese has always been really good. The food is always cooked well, I just think it may have been on the warmer for a little while before I arrived. I'll continue to do business there, but there's still a little room for improvement.
