Our experience tonight was perfect. Waitress was absolutely amazing and so sweet. The food came out in a timely manner and was absolutely delicious. My fiance and I love having date night here, it's always one of our favorites!
We are in town visiting our daughter and she suggested Cheddars for lunch. We've never been so we were excited to try it. They did not disappoint!! We had chips and queso for our appetizer, so good, and our meals were delicious!! But our waitress Tara was absolutely wonderful!! She was such a delight! She knew the menu very well and offered suggestions that we loved! Tara never let our glasses get empty and was always available when we needed anything. She is definitely an asset to this business. Thank you Tara for such a great experience at your restaurant!
Good lunch. Food was tasty. We had to wait a Long Time after we were seated, and finally had to hunt down a server. There was no communication at shift change, we were informed. However, once the server was aware of our presence she took very good care of us. But it's hard to overlook our initial 20-minute wait.
Fantastic place to eat, great atmosphere! Absolutely wonderful staff! Food is DELICIOUS! Highly recommend!!!
I loved Cheddars and had originally given them 5 stars, but had to change it after last night, I realize help is hard to find, but when you pick and chose who to seat because no one wants to wait on a table of 7, even though the dining room is virtually empty, but at the same time you have 4 or 5 hosts who are just standing at the desk doing nothing but ignoring you, then it is beyond bad customer service it is just rude and deliberate. We left and went next door to Red Lobster where we had no trouble getting seated, and the food and service were excellent.
Waitress Sydney is great! She took care of us 1000%. A little mix up at the bar but she made sure things ended right. Food was amazing as usual!
Stopped in on our travels and was pleasantly impressed. Seen this before but none around where we live. Had the country fried chicken and it was GREAT! Really loved breading and how cooked, gravy had great flavor. Would go back to try something else
Great service! The inside looks really neat too. And the food is great, with plentiful portion sizes. Ooh, and the croissants before your entree are exquisite! Would recommend for a sit down meal any day.
This place used to be pretty good before the pandemic, but it's really going downhill. And I'm not basing this opinion on one experience alone, but rather the combined experience of four or five visits spread over a year.Every time I go, it's like the bartender's first or second shift - which is fine, they've been very nice, but I suspect management is treating the employees very poorly and is unable to keep them for any significant amount of time.The last several times it is taken forever for food to come out. The kitchen is always backed up, and then the servers are overworked so your food sits there and gets cold before it gets to your table.I want to reiterate that this has been happening very consistently during many past visits. It just isn't the Cheddar's that you would expect. I thought the whole point of a chain restaurant is that you know what you're going to get?The employees are really nice, but I think management is really screwing up, big time. I think the owner should take a minute, go on a vacation, think about priorities, and how to fix their restaurant.
Honestly, it's started going downhill every time I go there. I'm not sure what happened, if management changed, or what but it's certainly not the same. Just meh on service and quickness, and the food too! We got some old croissants last time, you could tell they were from the day prior. Not impressed.
