We called to see if we could make dinner reservations for a Thursday night. We were told to call at 11:00am day of our intention to have dinner. We made a number of attempts to call, but got a recording that customer was not accepting calls. We continued to try to call with the same recording. We happened to stop at a Boutique in the same location, and found the restaurant closed. While waiting for my wife I saw 2 men go into the restaurant. My wife went to the door and knocked several times to see if we could make a reservation, and neither of the 2 came to the door. That night we drove by to see if they were open, and they were. Very busy and we couldn’t get in. When my wife told him about our attempts to call, he said they have had phone issues. Clearly they are busy enough not to care about customer appreciation. I will never give them business and others should find another restaurant where patrons are appreciated.

We had a reservation for 10 people @ 7 pm Friday, 5/13, celebrating a graduation. First... we understand they were busy, Friday, Columbia, Graduation....we get it. Second, I'm a chef, and most of us in the party have worked in food-service previously. Also, we were nice, and trying to be understanding. It was just NOT GOOD at all. ***We arrived at 6:50 for our friend's reservation. The host told us that the entire party had already been seated. It was not our party, or anyone we knew. They seated another party of 10 under our party's name. Simple mistake. Can you please seat us soon? It took 10 minutes for us to convince the host that the people seated at the 10-top were not our people. He then asked us to wait outside. Forty minutes later we were finally seated for a 7pm reservation. We had 7 people and a service dog. After sitting at the table for 15 minutes, a server finally showed up, and only talked to half of the table. He started taking app orders from one half of the table. When we asked if he could speak up a bit, he said "I was going to move down to you guys in a minute." Before he could move down to "us guys," the host came and asked us if there were only 8 of us (7 + service dog). He asked all of us to get up, go outside, and wait, again... so they could make our table into an 8-top, and they could split the tables & seat/serve other diners. This was the weirdest service any of us have ever received, anywhere. We got up from the table. Went to the front of the restaurant. Waited ANOTHER 15 minutes while they split the two tables. We were seated again. We had to ask for all new waters, because we weren't sure who had drank out of which water glasses while sitting at the 10-top. The seven of us were sitting elbow-to-elbow at a table that should have seated five to six at most. Plus, we had to make room for the service dog. To say it was extremely crowded is an understatement. Our reservation was for 7 pm. We all understand slight delays on busy evenings. We finally ordered dinner at 8:15. Salads did not arrive until 8:30 (1.5 hours after our reservation time... after two in our party had simultaneously called the phone number for >1 hour starting at 11 am in order to secure the reservation). As the salads arrived, I asked the server if we could possibly order drinks. He had never asked. Mind you, this was 1.5 hours after arriving at the restaurant. The appetizers were ok. The salads were great, beautiful, tasty. Six of us ordered the $38 strip steak. One ordered the "stuffed" salmon. The salmon was "pretty good." Most of the steaks were thrown away, less than half-eaten. The seasoned butter topping them was tasty. They were all cooked perfectly to temp, but all were very tough & hard to chew (even my husband's steak, that was cooked to rare). My zucchini & yellow squash were overcooked and unseasoned, very bland. The baked potatoes were just ok. (They were out of onion rings.) After one of us spoke to the manager (as we were waiting for the table the 2nd time), they offered to pay for apps & drinks to "make up for our trouble..." so, they tried, a little (3 glasses of wine, a soda & a tea). But, we would've all gotten up and walked out, gone to Texas Roadhouse, had it not been a graduation celebration & a very busy night in Columbia. After dinner the server cashed us out. After giving him our credit cards, we asked about dessert. He DID give us ONE free 3" chocolate cake & about 12 spoons, so the seven of us could share. The steaks & bland veg are definitely NOT worth $38, and we will not return. Not a great first impression for all seven first-time customers, celebrating a child receiving her DVM. The four people seated at the table that they split from ours? They ordered & got food, drinks &apps before we received our salads & drinks. We have NEVER been at a more mediocre restaurant (or any, really) for 2.45 hours before.

Wonderful dining experience for my wife and me last evening. Server was excellent and the stuffed salmon was fabulous. I really like the post covid adjustments they have made to the layout, spreading tables out a little more and no shoulder to shoulder waiting at the entry - hope they keep that going forward as it is much more pleasurable. Great place for COMO fine dining!!

The best food& service in my opinion

What a wonderful dinner. Jennifer provided outstanding service. We started with the scallops and pork belly. Phenomenal. The salad was presented beautifully and it was absolutely delicious. We also had the wagyu filet. O M G. You must use the butter on the steak, succulent, very tender. This was the BEST meal I've had in a long time!

Great first time at cc's! loved the atmosphere and the food! The staff and service is great. can't wait to go again!

Great food AND service! Xavier was an INCREDIBLE waiter who was willing to help me select a dish based on his personal experience - and I am so glad I followed his advice! If you want true and positive one-on-one customer service, Xavier is the man for the job!! Super nice and always pushing to give you a positive experience! The chef also obviously put his/her passion into the cooking - the food was flawless and flavorful!! Well done! ?

CC's never disappoints! While the strip mall location and fish bowl dining room leaves a lot to be desired for a steakhouse vibe the servers and consistent quality are enough to keep us coming back.Get all the apps! Get a steak! Get the lobster mash. The included salad is perfect. Our favorite server by far is Matt. Perfectly on top of things without making it awkward. Always there but not overbearing. He knows everything about the menu and is a pro at spacing out a meal and not rushing the service.

It’s hard to get through on the reservation line, and that should tell you something. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive, the steaks are well prepared and the sea food is excellent. All around a great place to enjoy a great meal in an upscale, yet relaxed environment. Great job!

Waited 15 min. for someone to wait on us at the counter, servers were rude and not friendly at all, will not come again , Writing this crappy place off my list of favorites.
