Everything we’ve had here is wonderful. I love that there are so many creative twists on the menu. And my 6 year old says the donut holes are better than Dunkin’. ?

Bud's is a fun new BBQ spot in Columbia at the heart of downtown. I wish I could rate it 4.5 because the whole experience was great but their menu is a little restrictive (not a lot of room for substitutions etc) and hopefully that will adjust over time. Otherwise though, the burger was awesome, the brisket a friend got was cooked very well, and their drink menu both beer and cocktails was extensive. We'll be back for sure soon and you should give it a shot as it's definitely some of the best BBQ in Columbia.
Was able to talk with the owner and he showed us the smokers. Some real Texas smoke coming out of these things. Some incredible food. Tried the ribs this time and they were so moist and tender. Seasoning was on point and the beans were a nice treat. Will try the brisket and tater tot casserole next time!
Came in for drinks and an appetizer but wish I had ordered a meal because everything looked so good. Friendly attentive staff, large selection of draft specialty cocktails and a decent number of beers. Bar was huge with plenty of TV's and space to mingle. Hopefully next time I'll get to try some of the BBQ.
Best BBQ in Columbia MO! Many have tried, and only Bud's has succeeded. Their BBQ, burgers, and chicken are exceptional. Their drink menu is extensive and varied. The DANK-A-RI is a must have. My wife has us on a near-weekly dining schedule here, it is that good. It is easy to get a table here, low wait time, and very spacious. We have introduced our most ardent BBQ enthusiast friends and family to Bud's and look forward to introducing many more. The owner is very personable and we've seen him man the bar every time we go in. A touch expensive, but not outside the normal range for BBQ in general or food in downtown Columbia.

10/10 would recommend this restaurant to any bbq lovers! Super friendly service, food came out fast, and was absolutely delicious! It’s a little pricy but WELL worth your money!
We catered in Budd for our Super Bowl party and it was amazing. The mac & cheese with smoked breadcrumbs was the star of the show, but it was all delicious. And their smash burgers are SO good!! Highly recommend. A super fun place to get drinks, cocktails on tap, and watch the game. Love buds!
