Great, quiet atmosphere. Wonderful food and impeccable service. We came for our anniversary and they surprised us with dessert.

Forget The Hill and come here. We live nearby and prefer Gianfabio’s to almost any restaurant in The Hill. If you’re an eggplant lover, the eggplant parmigiana appetiser is for you. It’s not filling which is just as well because it leaves room for a delicious entree, like the scrumptious cannelloni.

Good average food but a little pricey compared to other Italian restaurants in the area. Too many other options for curbside pickup that has better prices.

Pretty decent food, seemed under staffed ... and a dbag bartender

We absolutely loved everything. It was a wonderful first time experience. We will be going back

I ordered the linguine tutto mare. That was definitely a mistake. The squid was so tough and rubbery I literally could not chew through it. It was the most bland meal I have ever had in an Italian restaurant.I definitely should have just gotten the spaghetti and meatballs.

The wife and I had heard really good things about this restaurant and had been wanting to try it for a while so, after a day out, we decided we would go to Gianfabio's for some Italian! We walked in and took note of the notice on the door saying, "Reservations Recommended." We didn't have a reservation but it was 5:45pm on a Saturday and there were a good number of empty tables in the place so we asked for a seating for 2 people. After much hemming and hawing, the hostess said. "I could squeeze you in at 7:30pm." But there were a good number of empty tables, as I said, and we were still turned away? It didn't make much sense, honestly. If they were short-staffed I'd have understood ... they might not have been able to accommodate us? We might try, again, but, honestly, I won't rush right back and next time (if there is a next time), I'll be sure to make a reservation since they are not required but recommended .....

Nothing special in the food. Service was okWe kept it simple and had pizza which had a nice texture to the crust but lacked any flavor

Oh my golly, what a fun place to eat and becone an Italian for a couple hours! Our waiter, Joe was quick with a joke and made us feel like we were home.food was authentic and delicious

before last night I always would give 5 stars. My wife and I have been great fans for years and since the covid pandemic have been frequently ordering take out instead of dining in. Last night we placed an order of things we have often ordered in the past. The pizza was great. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the rest. The large Caesar salad was the size of a small salad at a cost of $11.99. The calamari diavola and mussels were also about half the size of the portions that we normally receive. I think that it would be better to raise prices than decrease portions if cost is the issue, because as long time customers this just turned us off. We will be hesitant to order again.
