First of all the restaurant was clean and the food was excellent especially the pork steak which looked like beef steak. Everything that I ate was delicious and seasoned the way that I like It. (I'm from the South). The desserts looked fresh and the bread pudding was absolutely Amazing ???. So this is a great place to eat and our server was most of all very friendly and well mannered. Cudos and so if you want good food this is a great place to eat.
I stopped in for a quick lunch because I knew it was a buffet style. It was fairly crowded around noon. That said, git to a table quickly, went thru the buffet options and picked my favorites. Have to say I was pleased for the value, quality of the salad bar is top notch, fried chicken very good. Lots to try. Will go again. It fit the bill.
We where here today for lunch 5/15/22. We paid to have steak for lunch plus buffet. First, the gentleman cooking the steak was unprofessional. He had steak already cooked up then threw it back on the grill to warm it up and it didn't. But also you couldn't get your piece of meat how you wanted it. Then I watched a kid drop a roll on the floor and then set it on the buffet table, I then observed the gentleman cooking the steak took his tongs that he was cooking with, grab that dirty roll and then used the same tongs and went back to cooking steak. How nasty and not how a professional cook should do.

Oh my what a meal! 1st was the salad bar, it has been so long since we had eaten from one and it was delicious. Everything was fresh and lots of options. 2nd meat and vegetable options were plentiful and cooked to perfection. 3rd taco bar looked great. 4th dessert blackberry cobbler and chocolate cake and other options. Reasonably priced. Only hold back was no drink refills.
Place is definitely on its last leg. Food is left out way to long, very dirty, and lacks variety. The food they do have is bland and dry. Definitely needs to have new management and redone. Save your money and go to a different buffet.
I order on DoorDash a lot, and sometimes I want to know details of the meals that they don't give on the app...whenever I call to get info, the front desk girl is very rude and answers phone with "Hi Love" instead of "Golden Corral" as if it's her personal cell or something..she never can say for sure what they serve and she acts exasperated when u ask is there someone there who does know. However, the kitchen supervisor or manager is very nice and is patient with giving info about what comes with a meal, appreciate him greatly
Waitress was very kind and attentive. Bathroom was in desperate need of attention. Food was good. Parmesean cheese on salad bar had mold all over it and was very obvious. Not sure why it was put out. I know there are staffing shortages...maybe this is why things weren't quite up to par?There's definitely great potential with a little more attention.
Manager here just told us to in her exact words, "leave and never come back" . They didn't have any steak so we asked for a refund because we were wanting steak and they didn't have it. I made a comment jokingly about the sweet tea tasting weird like river water and then made a joke about it saying we are from Illinois our tea just probably tastes different because the water comes from lead pipes. She made the comment that their steaks are, "made to order" I've never been to a golden corral that didn't have them hot and ready. Extremely disappointed but it did give me a good laugh. I'm not gonna lie I busted up immediately I couldn't believe it. I have not once in my life been asked to never come back to a dining establishment it was wild ? we only asked for a refund. I wasn't at all being serious previously making a joke. When she told us to leave and never come back I was like no wayyyyy I wish I had my camera out. It was tictok worthy. I can't believe it. The cashier who initially checked us out was very nice so there's some good to take away from it I guess
Enjoyed food. Went for a grandson's birthday. Had coupons and had problems paying. Gave coupons to checker. She argued that was for 2 people on each coupon but was for 4 people each. Then she didn't apply the 2 coupons we had. My husband slid his card and then I realized we hadn't received the discount. When complained checker had to call manager over to fix. She took coupon on top of stack saying again was for 2. The checker must have done something with our coupons. It was infuriating. When she finally rung us up we saved 20 bucks. Also our waitress didn't bother to refill our drinks. Probably won't go back.
