The best customer service I have ever received. The young man that waited on us was phenomenal. The smoked chicken was fabulous and the ribs were besides themselves outstanding.
Poor service. Turkey didn’t look like photo, dried out thin slice for $13. SMH. Didn’t get guest orders right and then blamed us.
Fast and friendly service and the BBQ is great. Love the ice cream for dessert too. Don't live near here, but will stop by when in town.

We traveled 6 hours to get here and decided to eat bbq at Dexter's. Big mistake! When my husband was served his combo plate, both the ribs and brisket were cold. Management would only offer to bring a to go box so we could take it with us. We won't be going there again!
Dexter's is always outstanding.The pork steak, the Okra, the brisket, and the service is always perfect.Go try them out, you won't be disappointed.
Ordered a large rib dinner, advertised on the website at $11.69, and was charged $19.99. They are not advertising their price is correctly. And secondly, I have entered into the hallowed halls of being “pricey”.It’ll be a while before I return to dexter BBQ.
It was ok . They seem to be getting Chingy on the amount of the meat on the BBQ sandwiches but when my other half asked about it they happily gave us more and said that they have a new guy. I have to say I noticed this type of thing happening alot there . We don't go very often . We also try to show curtesy by keeping the table and floors clean just bc that's is who we r . We r trying to Raise our child the same way. With respect. We appreciate his curtisey by bring more meat.
I drive to Mo. from my home in Illinois and I always stop and get some of these great ribs. Bu not tonight. First mistake, I ordered a salad as one of my sides only to be charged $2.50 extra because I guess getting croutons on it with a pink tomato makes it a super salad. I ordered the large rib dinner which is supposed to have 6 ribs. There were 4 good ribs and a piece of something which I am guessing was the end of something that was supposed to count for 2 ribs. Oh well... Then I ordered 4 cold sides at $25 a side and asked them to cut them in half so they would fit in my cooler. The lady told me they could not do that. What she didn't know is I was going to double that order but when she said they could not take 3 minutes and cut them in half for me I just ordered the sides that my friend wanted. That cost them a hundred dollars real fast. The ribs themselves were above average in taste but had more fat on them than I have ever seen. May have been the end of rib cage or just fatty for some reason. I can tell you this, I will go back but if this happens again I will find myself another bbq joint to cater to when I pass thru several times a year. Won't let one bad trip stop my business with them but 2 will.
