I did not want hot or spicy sauces because of heartburn but Also I do not Care for it personally. There was NO sauce i tasted that was MILD enough. This is a neat little place and the food is awesome! The portions are generous and the prices are not expensive! They have a special deal on Taco Tuesdays too! Check it out!We have been to Abelardo's several times now, and I have tried different items from the menu each time. I have yet to be disappointed!
Edit 4/18: changing my review from 2 stars to 4! I’ve given them a few more tries and my food has been correct each time, so figured I should update because it seems they’ve worked out a few of the kinks.Really want to love this place because the food is great and prices are good, but they are 3/3 on messing up the order. Most recently had a 45 minute wait for a call ahead to-go and ended up with missing food and the wrong items. Great food otherwise.
10/10. Didn’t expect to find Birria Tacos in Cape Girardeau but I did and this place exceeded expectations! I also had a Lengua Burrito and it was huge! A lot of food for your buck.
Super delicious and authentic!WOW!!!My fiancé and I loved it here. Staff was very nice and food came out fast. Most importantly it was all so delicious with great portion sizes.My fiancé ordered the Diablo Burritto and it was MASSIVE! Him and I could have easily split and still be satisfied. It is spicy! Which is perfect for us.I love how cheap the Ala carte tacos are. They have fried tacos here which are so yummy and good price. This gave me to option to try several different types.I will say my fiancé also ordered the pork carne Asada taco and did not enjoy the pork. However everything else was great. We will be back.
I've been eating here regularly the past couple months and this is the best place in town for tacos and burritos by far. Always fresh, and very fairly priced for what you get. I've yet to have any errors with my orders and the staff is always friendly. This place deserves more business!
Came through last time I came to town and did a take out order. The food was delicious. The gentleman who took my order and gave us our food was pleasant and curtious when it came to my children. He even repeated words they thought was funny in his accent. Can't wait to come back when I get to come back to town!
They have the best hard shell tacos and beef that tastes like real beef.. my only complaint is they should have packets of mild sauce they don't have any kind of sauce to go with the taco other than they're hot spicy which doesn't work for me I prefer the salsa like you get with your chips mild salsa.. but that doesn't come with it either!
Awesome fresh drive-through or carry out only Mexican food with REAL Mexican Coca-Cola in the glass bottles! BEST refried beans I’ve ever had!!
Great food and great service. Food is always fresh and tasty.
