We were not impressed. The sushi was average but overpriced compared to other places I've been. The food came with odd ingredients that weren't listed on the menu and they added auto gratuity for a party of 4. Our server was actually really nice and I planned on tipping her more than 18% but I guess she decided that was the tip she deserved. I wouldn't go back.
Every time I am in Branson, I MUST stop at Wakyoto. For years they have consistently delivered fresh, tasty, quality menu items. There isn’t one item that isn’t delicious. I honestly believe this is the best sushi place I’ve ever eaten at, and I’ve eaten at more than I can remember. If you’re looking for something to eat and you love sushi, this is the place for you. Five stars all around.
Hole in the wall sushi place; BUT so good! I wouldn’t say it was the greatest I’ve had but it was good with fun sauces. The service is what makes this place so special. Very attentive, even though under staffed. Kind and friendly.
awesome service good food decent prices nice atmosphere
We headed here on a whim just to try it out. Not disappointed at all. We had gotten a tempura vegetable appetizer that was thoroughly enjoyable. The bulgogi was delicious and the sushi beautifully prepared. Definitely a place we intend on stopping in again.
Great experience! Be patient as they are experiencing staffing shortage currently. Only saw 3 - 4 workers. But the food was amazing and the staff was great and caring. Enjoy!
For a little Branson strip mall sushi place it was a great tasting experience. My wife and I enjoyed our sushi and the service was stellar. It was a slow time of year for Branson in February and there was no wait for seating or sushi. The atmosphere was nice.. dimly lit and with the partitioned seating felt more private. The rolls all tasted good and there were a lot of choices on their menu. If you're visiting Branson and want some good sushi Wakyoto is the place to go.
First time here. We ordered the Jalapeño bombs and egg rolls for appetizers. Both outstanding. Maybe the best eggrolls I've ever had in a restaurant.Main rolls were Firecracker and the Spider.Again both were outstanding. I would certainly recommend giving this place a shot.
We were pleasantly surprised to happen upon this little gem, for a wonderful light birthday dinner meal. (Having had brunch at Keeter Center, this made for quite the gastronomically satisfying day.) The facility is clean and well-maintained; with a typical Asian restaurant decor. Our server, Yuna, was polite and attentive. We enjoyed the gyoza, avocado and eel rolls. Everything was fresh, tasty and nicely presented. If one is seeking some very good Japanese cuisine; this restaurant is a solid option.
I don't understand why it took over 15 minutes just to get seated when it wasn't busy and there were plenty of empty tables available. Maybe there's a reason it wasn't busy there? Also left a tip only to realize the bill had an 18% gratuity added automatically. Would not recommend and definitely would not go back.
