We came from Texas, so we are familiar with this fast-food chain. We hit this place at 7:45pm. Just to see a sign that because of staff shortages the store closes at 8:00pm. I ask if we could order to go and the person working the front desk assured us, we were welcome to eat there. The whole staff was super nice. The place was impeccably clean and nice. They have the nicest Schlotzsky's we have ever experienced. 5 plus if I could give it to them. Keep up the good work.
Was so excited to see a Schlotzky's on our family trip to Branson. We don't have one back home (Bloomington IL) any more. The Original was just as delicious as I remember. The kids split a calzone and enjoyed it.
Good food. Huge sandwiches. Friendly staff. Quick service Stopped in for a quick meal & they exceeded expectations. Not busy at all. More people need to discover this place.
I had the new BBQ chicken ? jalapeño ? pizza is was real good and sweet was good ? ?
Love coming here. It’s our go to soup place. Got here at 1120am and NO SOUP. They said it would be quite a while. Please don’t let this happen often. What’s on the menu needs to be ready upon opening. We will still come back.
The store seems new; it is well kept and very clean. Properly spaced for physical distancing. Associates helpful and cordial. The food items were of good quality. The pricing substantiates the portions. I think the original bread is probably better than the jalapeño cheese bread on the fiesta turkey sandwich. Other than that the sandwich was great. The brownie came straight out of the fridge ? It tastes very good at room temperature. Warm it up and it tastes even greater. The calzone came not as pictured in restaurant ads. Meats was not neatly placed and stacked on the sandwich. Neither was it plentiful with cheese so the calzone came short of the quality for which Schlotzsky’s is known.
Published menu on board lists combo meal and has a price. When I went to pay the woman said the drink and chips were an additional $3.95. I said that’s not what didn’t said and she said “I just work here.”
2.5 StarsFirst time ever to this brand. I've heard good things about this chain - maybe they were just having a bad day. I'm from Washington State and was in this town for a vacation. The line took about 10 minutes to reach the order point. Once I got there, and tried to order, I was told they were out of all pizza dough items. I was going to try the calzone. The order taker was noticeably wanting me to hurry and a bit impatient with me trying to select something else off the menu. I noted that a message out on the menu board about numerous items note being available at this time due to inventory problems would have helpful. That made the person even more visibly upset with me.I happened to sit near the order taker location and many who followed me also tried to order pizza items - they got the same results as me.If ever around this chain again, I'll give it one more try - if feeling adventurous.
I'm sad to write such a bad review when most of the reviews are great! We had a terrible experience with them for a pick up order. They forgot our chips and sodas (which my husband should have checked...) and they didn't honor the small, yet important special request on one of our sandwiches. We also felt like the bread was stale that night. It's too bad because I loved this place when I lived in Springfield. Hopefully it was just a bad night!
We were so excited to see that this restaurant was in Branson. Our state pretty much has lost all of them. We love Schlotzky’s! We may have eaten here more than once while visiting Branson!
