We’ve eaten here many times before and loved it. BUT….this time the greeter seemed to have a chip on her shoulder. She was rude! When I suggested her customer relations skills could use improvement, she handed me off to another employee who was even more rude! Needless to say, we left. This place needs a complete new team in place. We won’t be back. If you’re looking for a great place with professional greeters/wait staff….THIS AIN’T IT! Our visit started off rocky… there was a disgruntled couple ahead of us when we walked in that had apparently been waiting a long time on takeout food. That should’ve cued us to try somewhere else. Then, the hostess who couldn’t have been more than 18 or 19, gave us the worst attitude for no reason at all. She literally sighed and rolled her eyes when I told her there were 5 of us. She never actually greeted us or said anything besides “this way”. I don’t recall her even mentioning that our waiter would be coming or to enjoy our visit or anything. We were seated right next to the live singer. The speaker was so loud we couldn’t hear across the booth. It took some time to get our drink order in, and I noticed many booths and tables with people waiting or looking unimpressed with their food. Our waiter was good but stretched too thin it seemed. He mentioned they were out of lemonade and no longer had cherry cola so he mixed it himself to be cherry cola- which my son enjoyed. My son tried to order a grilled cheese and we were told none of the kids ever eat it and he suggested something else. Mentioned it was just inside out hamburger buns and sliced cheese. They’re the home of tossed rolls but we didn’t have any rolls come out until after our food was delivered. I had the ribeye which was good but overpriced for the quality of beef. My husband ordered the all you can eat fish which he enjoyed and was plenty of food. They did forget to sub his sides as requested but did fix it. Kids meals were unremarkable. We did have a singer come by and offer us a cd and it was mentioned multiple times that they were playing for tips only. Overall, we weren’t impressed and the whole experience was weird. Won’t be back.
Fried shrimp overcooked. Chicken microwaved in styrofoam and melted on food. A waste of $40 on carryout fir two. Disappointing. Yuck.
They give you a generous portion of meaty ribs with a baked beans and baked potato; i made 3 meals out of it; i got the turtle cheese cake which was wonderful which didn't last that night
The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was nice. The food was okay.Our waitress was very sweet and attentive. Checked on us frequently. They come around and throw hot buns at you. We enjoyed that and the buns were sweet and tasty, especially if they were hot.Started with an awesome blossom and our main dishes came out very quickly after we received the appetizer.Since it's called steak and catfish we thought we had to try both. We ordered the 8 oz ribeye and the all you can eat catfish dinner. It comes with 4 pieces of fish to start and they come around and ask if you'd like more. They bring out two more pieces when more is requested. They didn't seem to care that we were sharing the catfish. Both meals had good flavors but were too salty.I had the incredible hulk cocktail and it was good. Kinda like a Midori sour but not sour.
Wonderful restaurant and food! Live entertainment. My wife had the Chicken Fried Steak, I had the 12 oz. Ribeye. Amazing! My only complaint is that the drinks from the bar were slow. However, I will come back. Ask for Bence, he's a great waiter!
We ate here on our first night in Branson as it was fairly close to our condo. The fried fish was very good and the "tossed" roll was wonderful. Our server was fast and friendly.
Our family of 8 went to eat here and ordered steaks with salad bar. None of our steaks were cooked as we ordered them. The mashed potatoes were instant potatoes and the green beans come from a can with no flavor. We tried to just eat our meal and be good customers until they charged us an additional 3% for paying with card which is more than credit card companies would charge the restaurant. Something about being charged even more for the worst meal we’ve eaten in Branson just didn’t feel right. When we asked to speak to the manager he came out and said he’d take the price of instant potatoes and terrible beans off our bill. But we noticed the bill still had the final charge the same. We asked to speak to him again but he hid in the back and refused to come back to talk to us. Terrible customer service. We paid almost $200 all together for the worst meal ever!!! The only good thing was the server. She was so apologetic and tried so hard but she had no support.
