Great dive with AWESOME food. If you can handle the smoke, this place is definitely worth going! Free sample drinks when you walk in, addressed by your first name, and wonderful attitudes here. They have pool tables and tvs to watch sports and family friendly before 10pm!
Great amazing local eatery, glad to be back. Planed to be here for dinner 500 miles away from Rochester MN this morning. Not disappointed, love the great friendly VIVES. No
Don’t be fooled by all the 5 stars. Please be mindful that this is not my first Google review but it is my first 1 star review. We came here because we saw tons of 5 stars. Immediately upon being seated, we were greeted by a friendly waitress who brought us some good tasting house green drinks. Immediately after that, she took our order. She literally ignored us the rest of the time. I am not exaggerating when I say she ignored us. We needed a water refill. We literally called her as my cousin vigorously waved his hand as she stood 3 feet away from us. There was no way she couldn’t see us. The nice couple she was beginning to help on the table adjacent to ours kindly told her we needed something, (they knew we had been attempting to get her attention for quite some time). She wasn’t rude, she was simply not attentive to the needs of the customers. We felt ignored. I haven’t reviewed the food yet! Again, I have eaten at and review countless places. Rest assured, the food looks amazing in the pictures. We did get large serving sizes. That’s a plus. But, my chicken in my nachos and my quesadilla tasted like old reheated chicken breast. I gave them a 1 because their Mac and cheese side was good.
Great food, great staff no complaints....wasn't a rib lover until I ate there...we got a sampler platter worth every dollar loved the brisket, pulled pork and the sides.
So I would honestly say this place gets a 4.5, but I'm going to err close to 5.Flexibility- This bar/restaurant has food serving until 12:30! Anyone looking for a late night bite and a taste for BBQ, this is it!Service- It was great! Amanda was awesome and took care of us when we sat ourselves. We were also greeted with a shot that was absolutely delicious. I believe it was the Jack'd up Monkey. Only thing, I wish the shot had been chilled. Besides Amanda, the whole staff comes around and makes sure you're doing great, which is amazing to see!Food- I ordered some nachos to start, and a cheese burger later. I will say if you are a nachos lover, the brisket nachos are a must! The burger though, seemed to have been over done or waited for the other food, because it was dry. My wife ordered a brisket sandwich and she loved it. She is very particular about fatty brisket and this was pretty much all lean. So I think BBQ would be the way to go!Atmosphere- Was great! It gave you that dive feel. Everyone was friendly and seemed to have a great time. Keep in mind it is a bar atmosphere, for those not wanting that, you can eat outside.Can't wait to get back here when I come back in town!
One of the biggest issues in all of Branson is the lack of a night life. You will find that here. The BBQ is great for it's location. The atmosphere is fantastic. We are currently visitors on a regular basis but are currently building our vacation and eventual retirement home on Table Rock Lake and we will be weekly regulars once we live here. This is a great place to spend your time. You will not find a better bar atmosphere in all of Branson. Love, love, love it.
You're greeted as ssson as you walk in the door! Grab a couple of menus and seat yourself! Then your given a sample of one of their signature drinks, which was delicious! We ordered the pulled pork nachos and omgsh, I have found a new way tome nachos! Then we ordered the pulled pork quesadilla and omgsh, it was on of the most delicious foods I've ever had! My husband just drank beer, I had their Monkey Fuel drink 1st, then their Ja-Monkey Me Crazy, then their Monkey Colada, and went back to their Monkey Fuel drink! And the service was awesome, as well! They all worked together in a super friendly atmosphere! Seems like a place that only the locals would really know about, and looks like it to, but you should definitely seek this place out and enjoy! They're a bit pricey though, but I think well worth it!
Well, they let you smoke cigarette's on the inside of the restaurant. I did not like that. Can't think of the last time I've seen that in a restaurant, bar or casino. Didn't realize how much I appreciated a non-smoking place. Why let the actions of a few addicts who can't go outside ruin it for everyone else? That said, you'll end up smelling like bbq anyway, they have their smokers going outside by the front door. They ran out of ribs abt 7pm on a weeknight. I get it, but 7pm seems early. Menu a bit weird. Example - if you want just a pulled pork or pork+brisket combo you can't get either option. All bbq comes with ribs. They do a have a burger, salad and a pizza on the menu. We had multiple servers come by to help, which was nice, but none of them were outstanding. They each seemed to forget something, or didn't clear something or took their time getting our request. Very casual place, go early or I'd expect to wait. Now get to why you come here - the bbq! and it was very good. Pulled pork was good. Rib meat fell off the bone (my friend cut me 2, since i sacrificed my order when they ran out), their hot sauce is hot (suggestion mix the regular bbq with the hot bbq sauce), beans decent. Brisket had good flavor, moist, very thin, but a bit fatty for me (some like it like that). Sausage was alright. Portions were plentiful. I ended up with a big combo platter, when they ran out of ribs. Desserts, I'd pass on - they don't look like photos, carrot cake now 2 layers not 3 as in photo. quality was eh.. again bbq was good. A few tv with sports on, pool tables, full bar. Staff was friendly, our group had a good time. We went on a non band night, it would be loud inside if the band played inside too. Got home, clothes into washers, me into shower (stunk like bbq and cigarettes smoke).
