A house that has been turned into coffee shop. Very unique feel. They sell their own coffee and other KC roasters such as Oddly and Messenger. Very fun experience would have come here often if it were available back when I lived in Blue Springs. But good place to swing by when visiting the old man.
Absolutely delicious & will definitely come here again! We got the Brazilian/Guatemalan drip, iced loaded cocoa (w/espresso), blueberry scone, & oatmeal cream pie (cream cheese frosting). All the items were delicious. Cute & quaint atmosphere with indoor & outdoor seating.*PS for Geocachers - next door there's a quick P&G! ?
It is so refreshing to stumble upon hole-in-the-wall eateries that make you feel right at home. The atmosphere at Scout Coffee is reminiscent of spending time with family and having an informal business meeting all in the same experience. The location is very ideal, as it lies just on the edge of the Blue Springs square. The size of the establishment is perfect for the small-business model and quaint atmosphere that the owners were apparently going for when scouting out locations. With all the major coffee conglomerates saturating the market and failing in consistency across the board, it is a blessing to see these less known establishments flourishing due to their truly hospitable and old-fashioned atmospheres. Will definitely be stopping in again when I am in the area and highly recommend that you do the same.
What a fun coffee house! Stopped in for a drink on the way home! Hot Girl summer iced (w oat milk) is fabulous! Grabbed a locally made pop tart as well! If I were a local, I’d be here regularly! Excellent service, yummy product and a great vibe!
What a cute place! Scout Coffee made me feel like I was on vacation where life could move slow and I had time to sit and enjoy the sunshine and my friends. I love the decorations and the staff. They were so friendly and answered my questions and we joked around a little bit, I always love that touch of humanity. Highly recommend for a break from the world. I also loved that they had some gluten free options! Dog-friendly on the patio :)
This is a cute little place we decided to try as we were passing through. It did not disappoint. As we waited in the short line in the cute old house we could smell the coffee and it was great. I asked her sweet their drinks were and they said about half that of other chain places. (I like coffee not sugar). I said that was perfect and ordered one of their specials with vanilla and spiced honey. It was perfect. There was a great balance of the vanilla and honey and just a little kick of heat on the back end. The coffee shined through the other flavors and was definitely the star of the drink, and combined they were all excellent.I would definitely recommend this place and if I ever am in Blue Springs again I will be back.
Highly recommend Scout Coffee!!! We walked into this place that was recommended to us about a year and a half ago and have been there at least once a week, most weeks everyday since then. The staff is absolutely amazing! Welcoming, friendly, and always makes the perfect Latte! They added a pistachio latte that my husband and I both love but recently I tried the Leggo my latte and it was perfect! They have so many options and are very creative! This is my husband and our son enjoying the nice porch they have out front as we drank our morning coffee. Come in and you won’t be disappointed!
I LOVE Scout! I work down the street and am always worried about running late, but they’re super speedy. Great location and the staff is awesome. I highly recommend. Support local y’all

Stopped here as we are heading outside of town, I'm so glad we did. Ended up ordering a white chocolate mocha and a root beer latte. The root beer latte was beyond fabulous! Probably one of the best coffee drinks I've ever had! My husband ordered it, but I ended up stealing quite a bit of it. The white mocha was delicious as well. Coffee house was absolutely adorable. Located in an old house, but redone in a way that has lots of seating and cool areas to hang out. The vibrate Scout gave was very nice, welcoming, and creative. They offer variety of drinks, breakfast sandwiches, and pastries. You do have to go in to order, but they offer and pick up window for orders placed ahead of time. Went on a weekday, and it was not overly busy at all. Drinks were made quickly, and bistros were friendly. I would recommend this place to anybody who's in the area or traveling through. Would go back again!
