The staff in here is extremely rude! They stand and watch you eat and they hover over you and try to take your food before you’re even done. Every time I’ve been they come and take the tip off of the table while you’re still eating and rush you to get out. Today they accused me and my friend of stealing their pen and started cussing and acting crazy and making a scene about it even though we did not take it. I’ve never been to a restaurant that’s made me so uncomfortable in my life. Also if you bring in a coupon they up the price of the buffet and it’s already expensive as it is! Will never go back!
We go to this restaurant when we are craving for buffet style eating. The food has been consistent by taste and quality through the years we had been eating here. There is variety of the dishes served from the sushi bar, the “hibachi” section, meat and seafood not to mention the salad and desserts. There are room for improvements, may I suggest, like the sushi roll could be much better with less rice in it and replenishment of in demand dishes should be done as soon as possible.
This used to be one of the best around. Last time we went, the main dining area had a lot of open tables and even booths, instead we got stuck back in a odd perm smelling “meeting” room. The food literally tasted like it was reheated from the day before, and this was 11:00 am when we were there. Some of the food had a very odd taste. Definitely not like how it all used to be, something was off about it all. Then to be charged $14.50 for lunch, is fine, but our food was not up to $14.50 par. What happened to this place??
It had some good items and was very busy. There was a lot of variety but several items had jalapeño slices in the dish. That's good for a few, but this was a larger proportion of the offerings than I would like. Some of the sushi was a little dry.
This used to be the gold standard for Chinese buffets in the metro area. I don't know if it's the Covid hangover or it was the busy Sunday visit but man the quality was down severely last time we were there. The price was way up as well. I guess they could charge a hefty premium on Sundays that I wasn't aware of. I have no problem paying more especially in times like these but you do expect a return on investment in regards to quality. The service was good as always. Tip your servers please.
Our server gave us a different ticket than what we actually paid for. Gave us a ticket for $26. Had us paid $31.98. Never will be coming back here again. The server got rude and didn’t even apologize.
Wow, the best Asia Buffet that I ever been. I have been manager in two restaurants in past. Management are awesome keeping restaurants in good order. Welcoming workers keeping restaurant clean. Kitchen stuff doing excellent job! Food here always delicious, fresh and refilled done on time!
Firstly, many things can be forgiven IF there is good customer service. Legends of Asia fails in just about every category imaginable.Employees are extremely rude and make no effort to hide the fact that they are talking bad about customers. The man who sat us made it quite clear he was unhappy with us coming in at 8:45pm even though the website states the restaurant doesn't close until 10:30pm. He and another woman stood close to our table motioning towards us and glaring at us for the first 15 minutes of our time there. Most of the food trays had less than a single helping in them and there was no effort made to refill them. The food we did get to try was about average as far as Chinese buffets go. Not worth the money they charge. The women's bathroom was atrocious. We also witnessed an employee wipe the floor of a booth with a washcloth that she then used on a table top.Over all our experience here was unpleasant to say the least. If customer service had been better i would not have bothered writing a review. There are many other buffets within a reasonable distance who are cheaper, cleaner, and have much better customer service than this place.
Let me start by saying never go here on a Sunday afternoon. That's is when I went and I have never seen so many people packed into a building before and after covid... The food was good and fresh. However, the way the Buffett is set up it is very confusing trying to find things. Definitely a very popular place to get Chinese food.
The food here is AMAZING. Every time I travel to the KC area my family takes me to eat here in Blue Springs. I live in Florida and I've never had more delicious Chinese food in my life. No place better in America. Buffet all-you can-eat and super duper fresh and so many things to choose from that you can't possibly try everything. If I could give this place ten stars I would.
