We were in town for a family wedding and stopped in sunday morning. Our carload got one dozen glazed donut holes and 6 glazed donuts. They were fantastic. Light and fluffy, melt in your mouth. Very few bakeries impress me. This one definately has it together!!!
Ordered 6 dozen donuts last week for today. They told me the cost would be $91. I go in to pick them up and it's $104 and change. I was told they had a price increase yesterday, they would not honor the price given. If these weren't for students on my bus, that have been told they're getting them today, I would've walked out without them. VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! Will never go again, DAYLIGHT DONUT, you have my business.
We've been going to the blue springs location for 6 years. The staff know us and are always wonderful! If a mistake is made, they always make it right. And its very rare if and when a mistake is made. Awesome staff, awesome fresh donuts! We will always get our Saturday morning donuts from Lamars!
Lamar's serves up some of the best donuts you'll ever eat. If there is a line, just endure it! It's worth the wait.
Their Chocolate Longj John's filled or unfilled are the best!
Beyond a doubt the best doughnuts in the Kansas City area. I'll never understand the attraction to Krispy Kremes - obviously those who were never graced by trying LaMar's Doughnuts.
Stopped by this morning to get a couple donuts and Nate helped us. Best customer service of any restaurant we’ve had in a really really long time. Super nice fella with great recommendations. Thanks Nate!

This is what donut shops should be! Great staff, great selection of donuts. I prefer cake donuts which seem harder to find these days, but Lamar's did not disappoint. The hardest part was deciding which one I wanted. They also had a good selection of drinks (I got juice). This hit the spot on my cross country drive.
Product was TOP NOTCH but some of the Employees weren't super friendly.. Could have been an off day.. I totally understand.. I'll definitely be back!!
