I dont think the bar opens till dinner, came in for a beer and wings at lunch time and nobody at the bar. I think you'd be better to advertise the place more then closing ur slow hours down. It seems like a competency issue at corporate but hard to tell without a deep dive.
Absolutely loved this place til they switched it to express. Set at the bar for 15 minutes waiting. Lost our business now. We came here for the good food, drinks and atmosphere not to order at a cafeteria express line and have our food brought to us. So disappointing.

All the grocery store you’ll ever need or want
I stopped by here to get a couple of grilled burgers to go. I waited forever to be helped or even recognized by staff. The burgers were way overpriced and were not that great of quality for the length of time it took and how they tasted.
This restaurant is a surprise touch of elegance in the corner of Hi-vee grocery store. We tried it and had breakfast late in the morning. They were still serving anything on the menu! I have to say the eggs Benedict were extremely astounding! They had to have a chef from a top restaurant because that is a dish that takes culinary skill. Ut was excellant, so much so we have went back several times and every meal is enjoyable with a wait staff that works very hard to please. So if you are looking for some exquisite cuisine, pass by all the expensive places in K C and try the Market Grill, I promise you will not be sorry.
There were 4 of us that went hyvee last Sunday after church for brunch We had been there a few times in the past with mixed emotions. The food has always been good but seemed somewhat pricey We went last week and not only was food excellent but price had been reduced. Only $8.99 if you are over 55 The usual egg dishes - bacon- sausage- has brown casserole which was awesome- prime rib/ shrimp- and cooked to order omelette The the dessert was cheese cake factory desserts which were superb Definitely worth a second try if or firstvifbyou have never been there
My wife had an ok Sirloin steak and I had a top notch filet. He sirloin was a little tough all the sides were great (broccoli and mashed potatoes). My filet was as good as you would find at any top steak house in the KC area. We did not use the salad bar, however you can order the salad bar just outside the restaurant. Service still great and so was the bread.
