The takeout orders have ruined this company. I was in a line with about 10 people in front of me that took 45 minutes to clear because for every one person they handled in line they were doing three online orders. Note in my photograph there were five orders waiting on the counter ahead of me. Worse though is the fact that the food is never hot by the time you sit down to eat it. All the cold ingredients plus the not hot enough ingredients from the first part of the line blend into a room temperature offering.And on top of all these failures, Chipotle restaurants I've noticed have been extremely dirty lately. The trash isn't being emptied. The soda fountain is a mess and the prep line looks like a bomb went off.
Place is in dire need of more staffing. The girl at the front counter who is helping us is very nice but she had been there all day long, working over 9 hours on the line is a lot. Management needs to do something. The crew didn't even seem to have time to clean up the lobby, napkins were empty, ice overflowing onto the floor, water on the floor, every table was dirty inside and outside, and of course the food prep area was covered with food as you can see from the photos. Would love chipotle food, and the quality of the food was great, staff was amazing but they all looked so tired and beat down from a long day at work. Felt bad for them. We're traveling through and this is not our local Chipotle, and it had to be the dirtiest one I've ever seen.
Absolute trash. We have ordered from here 2 or 3 dozen times and we have never had an order filled correctly. I guess I’m a glutton for punishment as we kept returning. Tonight sealed the deal and we’re done with this location. Ordered 2 double steak burritos and received 2 burritos with no steak. I mean how does that even happen? Chipotle is awesome but this location is garbage.
I love Chipotle and I have only had a couple bad experiences in 22 years, but this one was beyond mediocre: dirty entrance full of bird poop, short staffed, horrible burrito-making skills, a cashier who was not listening/paying attention, ice bucket on a chair next to the soda fountain (a health violation), dressing was not well made (we got two and they both tasted different), questionable bathrooms, no napkins…The people running this store are probably 16 years old, so this is a logical consequence of having them in charge. I will eat Chipotle again, but not at this store. 2 stars (instead of one) because I did get a burrito and I am not hungry anymore.
The cilantro lime rice was undercooked to the point of crunchy and the steak was chewy, fatty and cold. 1/2 scoop pinto beans. It’s my once a year “try Chipotle again”. It’ll be another year before I come back to the Blue Springs location.
This Chipotle has gotten better. Orders are almost always ready when you arrive. Prices keep going up. $14 for a burrito is too much.
Very slow service, the guy on the line did not change his gloves after being at the cashier & scratching his head. Observed this while waiting 10 minutes to be served since they had 3 online orders.Thankfully another person took my order. Unsanitary location for sure.
By far not the worst but the food could use some recipe book, you know train the staff to follow the recipe, cause the guacamole was salt less, didn’t feel the lime juice it barely had any onions, look like they are not macerated right an the chicken didn’t have any salt either
You know I keep giving the Coronado chipotle chance after chance to do right with their delivery service but they are greedy,careless and unprofessional every time. I spent over $20 tonight on one burrito. I paid for extra toppings. First off I got the wrong protein. Then I got a burrito half the size of a normal one even paying for the difference. I called to ask for a refund and was told to go online. Online service did me absolutely no good as well. I know word of mouth can go a long way. I guess here is my complaint. I eat chipotle multiple times a month and sometimes even multiple times a week and this by far is the worst location I’ve ever had experiences with. I hope to get a response back. I will be going up there tomorrow. I am not someone who likes to complain about their food, but this has happened so many times and I figured eventually they would get their stuff together but still nothing.
Placed a to go order and picked it up, when I got home both bowls I order were not even half full. I've been skimped on serving size before but never this bad. Called to complain and hope for a refund or something to be done about this but Sato n the phone for 10 minutes while it just rang and rang and no one answered. This was the worst chipotle experience ever
