The waitress was the best that we have encountered in quite awhile, food was prompt, cooked right and was delicious.
For an Applebees, this one isn’t bad. Generally pretty clean and the service has always been quick.
Server was always ignoring us. Took over 20 minutes to get our drinks out. Asked multiple times for more chips and food was way overcooked. It's no surprise to me the parking lot was empty.
Service was good. Food was good (had the rib tips). Drinks were good (had the $5 long island ice tea).
Food was great and the service was great.I was surprised since it was lunch hour on a Saturday. Thanks for taking great care of us.
The prices are outrageous, the food was eeehh. Our server was good that's all I can say won't be going back.
The queso cheese was like milk not good at all. The Mac and cheese was not good as well. The only good thing was the bone in wings bbq
We hadn't been to Applebee's (Blue Springs) in a long time as ownership changed and so did the quality. We visited again about 6 months ago and it was vastly improved.With a gift card we decided to give it another shot. We were seated promptly (only about 1/2 full). Our server Jamie G took our drink orders, provided some guidance on menu items and placed our order.A different person delivered our meals, not a big deal but it took Jamie maybe 5-7 minutes to return to see how things are. While waiting I went ahead and ate the luke warm mashed potatoes and luke warm broccoli. I let her know the 'well done steak' is pink inside, deal breaker for me. She apologized and returned about 4-5 minutes later (wife is now done with her dinner). The steak was good but what a debockle.I understand the cook may have not kept it on the grill longer and she had no idea, but if she had checked on her customers a little sooner it wouldn't had been so displeasing.Now the table next to us, were all drinking margaritas, Jamie sure checked on them frequently and each time asked if they needed another margarita.Overall service was poor, personality below average, next visit if there is one, we'll have to ask who's section were going to be in and decide if we stay. Jamie just isn't on her game and seemed like she really didn't want to be there. (from what we saw it appeared she had 4 tables).Room for improvement. We frequent dine-in places once or twice a week and have seen exceptional service, average service, working and exhausted service and just inexperienced service...this was the later and support our servers as applicable.
It's been a while since we've eaten at Applebee's but we weren't disappointed, and Liz, our server, really made the experience the best part. (We already knew the food was going to be good) ?
Food was acceptable. Restaurant needs to be cleaner and chairs should be updated. This location has always appeared to need improvements.
