Had the NY Strip and was absolutely the worst steak ever. Did not look like a 12 oz, dry, tough, and came out cold. For 30.00 I would expect way better. My husband had some sort of pasta with meatballs and he said it was really good. They were busy but still, our check for 2 was close to 85.00 so I would expect better.
We Have not been in a while . Our food was delicious and our server was great .. but seriously what’s up with all the fans ?? Freezing cold .
The restaurant closed early on Sunday due to staff shortage but they made us aware of that and the delay in service. We chose to stay anyway. Our server let us know before we ordered that they had run out of fries and tater tots. We got burgers with chips, which were very tasty. The burgers were cooked exactly as we ordered them. During our (expected) long wait for food, our server kept checking on us and refilling our drinks. Even with the staff shortage, it was a pleasant experience.
Great food! Great service! Can't count the times we've eaten there over the years and never had a bad experience! The only bad part is trying to find a parking space. If you have to wait, it's usually not long before they can get you in. If you do have to wait...wait! It's worth it!
This place has delicious Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo, probably the best in Jefferson County. My husband ordered the chicken sandwich and it was a little over cooked which made it to be just an okay sandwich. However, we will definitely go back to try this place again.
Great food! They offer not only burgers, but also salads, wraps, pizzas, and pasta, and more. Had a hard time deciding! Service was also great! Our waitress was very attentive and friendly.
My wife and I stopped in for a late lunch on the recommendation of some friends. Took us a few minutes to be seated upon arrival. Once seated our server was friendly and attentive and we ordered drinks and an appetizer to get started. It took a bit to get out appetizer but the fried pickles were good, crispy with the right amount of saltines. The ranch dipping sauce was a little disappointing, I was hoping for a bit more of a spicy kick, but it wasn't terrible. Unfortunately our sandwiches and fries took forever to arrive. There are signs around the place advising about being short staffed, but the place wasn't all the crowded on a Friday afternoon for it to take almost 45 or 50 minutes. I'm a bit of a pork tenderloin sandwich junkie so I had to try the one here. I was intrigued by the sandwich being topped with strawberry jam. I know, it sounds like a strange combination, but it totally works. I was impressed. My wife had the club sandwich and has enough to take home for another meal. I really hope they get the staffing issue resolved because the food was pretty tasty. We'd definitely come back the next time we're in the area.
The Local House is one of the best local restaurants in the area. Outstanding service, and the quality of the food is fantastic. Fried chicken lovers - have to try this place on Tuesday or Thursday (and Sunday). You won't be disappointed. Lots of great specials during the week.
We had dinner with some friends here. Once seated they were quick with getting drinks for us. Beyond that, it was not very good. They took an extremely long time to bring out our food. Unfortunately, it was not worth the wait. One of our steaks was over cooked and extremely dry. I had the Hawaiian Sandwich and it was not very good. Extremely greasy and not a ton of flavor. The place was clean and the servers were friendly. Just below average food with slow service.
It was local+1 it was not a house-1 because it was a bar and grille+1. Great example of the true Arnold atmosphere of eating+1. Filled with great specimen of people from Arnold+1. Don't know if the bathrooms were clean or stocked so cannot answer that usual question. Definitely had some machine that the kids kept asking money for. Dinner was typical dinner food. Kids had burgers. Or chicken sandwiches. Grandma had pork steak, smashed potatoes and bread pudding. Nothing stood out as being extraordinary and notable. Everyone spoke fluent English+1. All food came out hot and in a timely Manor. all drinks were refilled propt and in a timely Manor as well? And masks were optional?
