I've always eaten inside but wanted to try the curbside service. Called in my order and waited for a text in my car. They said about 20 minutes and basically right on time. So far so good. They make it super convenient you just get out of the car and pick up food everything is super easy. I usually eat inside and get a decent portion of food. That being said this time I just wanted an appetizer platter. The food was all ready for me to pick up, friendly host when I picked up the food. I got home and was amazed about the small portions of food. I've heard that in some restaurants you get more if you sit down but, during this pandemic and know just as many people are getting curbside while sitting in restaurants. I thought it would be different. I do like Texas Roadhouse. Fun atmosphere and okay steaks ,of course many better places for better ones , but still decent. Let's just say the convenience doesn't pay for the little quantity of food I received. I paid with a tip around $18. I will go back, because I do like the food . I will just sit down instead of carrying out next time.
If you like steak, give this place a try. The cuts are of great quality, and they keep the prices reasonable. Staff is courteous and friendly. Drink selection is great. Lots of beers, mixers, and normal drink selections. It took me a few trial and errors here to fine tune my experience. For example.. I don't like eggs on my salad. Don't be afraid to ask what all comes on a dish. They have no problems modifying it to your specifications. This place only has a dinner rush so come early otherwise seating takes a bit, but they will give you a seat, a pager, and throw peanuts at you, so you'll be fine. Perfect for a night out.
Always know what to expect from the Roadhouse. The wife and I like their steaks and apps. We get good service, very friendly and quick once you're seated. Try the call ahead seating to help keep your wait time down considerably. We went on Friday at 6. Called when we were pulling off 141 and got a text that table was ready b4 we were there. We'll continue to spend our hard earned money here, when we do go out.
Great food and great service.
It was really, really busy, so it was a typical busy restaurant experience. CJ was a good server. The steaks were really good. Fried pickles were good. Drinks were good. Other than having to wait over an hour for a table, it was a good experience. That what I get for trying to eat at a restaurant where the food is really good on a Friday at dinner time. Seems like half the neighborhood was there.
This was my first time eating here and let me tell you... the food was so amazing and delicious and the service was outstanding ! I defiantly recommend . Definantly worth tipping for sure !
Got there right at 4. There was a long line outside. They open at 4. we had a table within 10 minutes. Our waiter Eric was great. Food was fantastic as always. I have never had a bad or disappointing meal here.
