Love me some Subway
Tonight while I walked into Walmart I decided to get subway for my bf and I for dinner. As I approached I notice after about 2 mins, the employee was by herself. Whenever I asked where her other employees were she began to tell me they were only paying for one person to be there due to the virus and it being slow. This poor girl looked freaking exhausted! Although Kayla was exhausted she seriously was calm and still gave her best customer service face & pushed past it. This girl needs some kuto’s. Our sandwiches were awesome and I hope for her sake that this company gives her another helping hand esp for when they’re busy! She doesn’t get paid enough to do everyone’s job.

Thanks for the great customer service & being so sweet. I’ll always be back here considering I just work next door & will always ask for this girl to make my sandwiches ❤️
I usually have a good experience at Subway for the most part. This time, not so much. The young girl didnt listen to me. I purchased a for long tuna.I purchased extra cheese and two different kinds. I asked for one kind of cheese to placed down one side of the sub and the other down the other side. Instead she placed them all down one side. When I got home, and started eating, it was almost all bread. There may have been a 6" worth of tuna spread across a 12" sub.
I have severe food allergies and I usually NEVER eat out anymore unless I stop at a different Subway on Astra Way/Missouri State Rd in Arnold. (THAT store and its employees are FANTASTIC) Unfortunately when I attempted to order at the Subway in Walmart on Michigan Ave. my experience was less than acceptable. I really do not like leaving bad reviews but I felt like I needed to mainly warn others with severe allergies. I explained what my allergies were and asked if the man could please use clean plastic gloves (he had some on when I walked up) I knew at that moment I should probably go with my gut and leave. I am really easy going and was hungry and figured that if I once again explained that I can not consume any food that has come in contact with what I am allergic to that maybe the older gentlemen would understand and put on a fresh pair of gloves...he did not. Well, he put on a fresh ONE and left the other one on. I had also asked if they could please use a fresh knife when I mentioned the gloves. He looked at me puzzled, dunked it in what appeared to be a cup or container of water and wiped it a bit on a rag then layed it down as he grabbed my bread. I ended up just saying "thanks anyway but I can not take a chance on having an allergic reaction" and I left. I didn't drag on the explanation when I first arrived. It was a short and simple explanation that I had severe allergies and had a couple requests if they didn't mind. I wasn't demanding and I kept it simple and polite. It appeared to me that the employees didn't understand allergies at all...not even a little. I knew right then and there to leave immediately. The employees were not rude at all, they just seemed very confused and did not seem to know what I needed and why. I really hope that whomever owns that particular Subway, offers some training for their employees and QUICK. They could learn a thing or two from the employees at the Subway on Missouri State Rd. In Arnold. Those kids are fantastic and extremely kind and accommodating.
Thought I'd try to give them another shot before I wrote them a review. The first time I ordered from them a while back I pre ordered on the app for a to-go order. They gave me the wrong cookies and forgot the bacon on one of the sandwiches. Second time I came in and ordered in store to be sure there was no mistakes I guess I must have looked away because they messed up my boyfriends sandwich by putting way too much salt and pepper on it. This last time I came in to sit down an eat while I waited to have to go into work. I asked for light buffalo and the amount put on there was far from light unfortunately. Sadly I think I'm just going to give up on this location unless I come in for a slushie as that seems to be the only quality product they can get right .. unless of course the machine is down or still in the process of mixing it. Which is more than understandable. I hope the they get the staff they need to fill the positions they require, but no matter how short handed you are you should always check your quality of product or atleast remember your training and how standards are suppose to be.
I went there with my brother and grandma and had such an amazing experience! Both Hailie and the lady working with her (on Friday, august 16th. We didn't get her name 😔) were very nice and just gave us a completely enjoyable experience. Every time we have come to this subway, we've had a good experiences. We've been helped by Hailie before and she is such an enjoyable person to have serve me! Highly recommend.
Tonight my husband and I decided that after our grocery shopping we would enjoy our favorite sandwich shop. However, not only was the prep table covered in left over ingredients from what I'm imagining is hopefully from previous sandwiches being made (we were the only ones ordering sandwiches at the time), but the service was also ridiculous. My husband ordered a chicken bacon ranch flatbread and I ordered the chicken bacon ranch on garlic cheese bread. As the male employee was preparing our sandwiches the female employee came out and her name was Katie. Not only did I have to repeat numerous times what sandwiches they were supposed to be making but also had to inform them that the sandwiches didn't have bacon on them when they were supposed to. Katie was acting as though she was under the influence of drugs. She was completely incoherent and fumbling around. For my husband's sandwich she even had to be told to put the chicken on the sandwich. Please let me remind you that at the time of my sandwiches I was the only one ordering. After what felt like 15 minutes of instructing these employees on how to make these sandwiches the line then began to form. As I was paying Katie then told the male employee to give us a free sandwich. This made me feel as though I didn't need to write this review. However, after receiving the receipt, I realized that we were charged for TWO sandwiches with garlic cheese bread when only one was ordered and one was received. I then brought the sandwiches back to my husband for him and I to eat. Accept, we couldn't even eat them!!! My sandwich was covered in Parmesan cheese, the garlic and shredded cheese not even warmed...the sandwich was completely soggy and the chicken was cold. My husband's sandwich was falling apart also cold chicken and soggy. We will definitely think twice before visiting this location again.
