I haven’t had LJS in many years but I’ve been craving their chicken. I stopped by here for a late lunch and the older lady at the window was very kind. My food was ready as soon as I got to the window so I was expecting it to not be super fresh. It was still so good!! The chicken was great, love the batter and the hush puppies were awesome too! Hopefully I can make it back down this way for some more chicken soon.
I was shocked at the speed and accuracy of my order from this location. Fast food service has gone way down since Covid. But, this location had friendly service that was super fast. My order was hot and fresh and accurate. We will definitely be back!!!
Food was quick. Prices went up a little. Hush puppies not as good as Capt. D's. Fish is second to none. Good service.
Food was great. Nice to see a number of updates in seating and restroom. People and service was very good.
I have gone multiple times to the Long John Silver’s in Arnold because my elderly Mom liked cod and it seems they are the only ones who have it. So today I went there for my Mom and for her sides she asked for Onion Rings and Coleslaw. When I told this to the girl working the drive through she told me they did not have onion rings. I told her that it shows they have them on their menu online. She said they don’t have them and what it shows online is not her problem. So I ordered coleslaw and corn. When I got to the window Zoey was extremely rude as usual. So I get the food home and the fish was super greasy where the box was grease soaked and the coleslaw was nothing but cabbage and mayonnaise. Just disgusting!
I came all the way from Festus tonight and waited there 5 minutes before close time. I waited at the speaker saying "Hello" for them to ignore me for those few minutes. They turned out the lights on me and didnt even say they were closing. I was there in line before close time and they should of helped me but did not. Now that is horrible service and I will start traveling to Farmington Long John's because this place is going down hill. Which is sad because I remember coming here with my grandparents as a kid! You lost a big order and instead Captain D's got it. I will let my family know to go else where as well. This is definitely not the same place my grandparents use to rave about when I was younger! I understand with Covid that people are short handed but when I drove out, there was like 5 workers just standing there.
One thing I love about working on the road is eating at the places we don't have at home. I haven't had LJS since I was a kid, but it was just the way I remember.Lobster bites for the win!!
Awesome service, we pulled up in a semi truck after the dining room was closed, pouring rain so we ordered in the drive thru, really wish we would’ve gotten their names but the young lady with the blue hair offered to bring out our food to the truck, we noticed we were missing our coleslaw and not a minute later the manager is bringing out 2 coleslaws. No doubt best LJS we’ve ever been in. Food was good too
Perfect!! Great food, exceptional customer service. Went above and beyond to get us our food
meals and service was good. I tried the new lobster bites. they were not heat hot. fish was great as always.
