had to pay $76 for COLD FOOD. the server only came to take our order and leave the check. when i tried telling her that the food was cold and stale, she walked away in a hurry. the food also wasn’t cooked all the way, the fries were half frozen. this place used to be nice with good quality food and a bigger menu, but now it’s just horrible! i’m so disappointed and angry that i had to pay for cold and nasty food. don’t go here.
Wow!! I'm blown away! I come to thus location once a week to get their combo nachos. We always pay for double meat as we are serving 3 adults with this meal. With double meat it's perfect. Today of course they were very busy but that shouldn't be an excuse. We went to the bar like we always do and made out Togo order. Caleb was the one who took our order. Very kind, wrote down our order exactly as I expressed it to him. When our food was done I had a feeling and looked at the nachos. And of course there were jalapeños through out the entire order which I asked for none of those as my husband is allergic to them. So we got home and to my surprise there were NO DOUBLE MEAT. NO CHICKEN NO CHEESE. there were hamburger meat but it was like crumbs. I've never had this problem before with them. Especially because Lisa is the one who always deals with our order. And that's when it comes out PERFECT. so I called and spoke to Justin who's suppose to be a manager. The entire conversation he didn't believe a word I was saying. I told him I threw the receipt away because I've never had to keep it for any reason. So that was qn issue. Then asked if I was a loyalty member which I didn't even know they had. I told him I can give him the exact amount I paid, my credit card number and he can go ask Caleb because he was the one that took my order. Needless to say, I will be calling corporate and going further with this review. Nothing was handled. Justin treated me like I wasn't a customer. Like I just called up and made up a order. Never even said he was SORRY!!! Just be careful when you make Togo orders CHECK YOUR FOOD ENTIRELY
Decent service and drink specials, the quality of food can be very hit or miss during peek hours. Appears that the kitchen has trouble keeping up. Very regular to have a 30 minute plus wait starting at 4:30 on the week days. Among many issues, last time we went there our appetizer was still half way frozen.
My family and I have always had good experiences at ( Arnold) 54th Street grill & bar, but disappointed at this point! Took the family for dinner and walked in and there was no wait but we stood there for 10 minutes while numerous employees seen us but had no urgency to greet us and seat us. I was very disappointed and made myself clear of it. Not sure at this time if we'll ever go back!?
We used to come here pre covid almost every Friday night, about 6 months or so we came and notice some things had changed on the menu, we looked past that and thought we’d give it a chance, wasn’t too good, well tonight we thought we would because we didn’t want to wait the hour and 20 mins at Texas Roadhouse when 54th street only had a 10 minute wait, now we know why, the whole menu change (no prices) so many options are different and not in a good way. Fried pickles were horrible, no longer have the cheese fries, the salad I would order with my steak are different (not in a good way). The manager came over and gave the covid excuse for supplies, well that’s technically not true because other restaurants still have their same items…very disappointing. Waitress said she would take the pickles off our ticket and she didn’t. If I could give one recommendation, it would be to take your menus back to the way things were, even if we have to pay higher prices, I’m ok with that, I just want the old food item options back.
The food is decent. I used to go a lot for Happy Hour and appetizers, but I've seen some decline in the food and drink quality. Still not a bad spot for a few cocktails and apps. Staff is great, always have very friendly and attentive servers.
Not real impressed on this visit. Ordered the shrimp and scallops with ancient grains. I have definitely had better scallops and really don't know what to day about the ancient grains lol. Service was adequate but not overly impressive. The whole feel of the restaurant just felt off.
I go out to eat good food and have good service. Was seated in Danelle's section. She was very cute and friendly and took our order promptly. Food was good but we had no napkins or silverware. I asked for a napkin and was given drink napkins. Apparently her mother was in the restaurant and had to tell her what I was asking for. She was more worried about talking to her parents than providing service. I waited for her to come back so I could order another beer. She eventually came back to get my plate and I told her I wasn't finished just needed another beer. She was really apologizing but I ended up in the restaurant much longer than I had planned to be. I understand wanting to spend time with family but she should be doing that on her own time not while working.
we were really disappointed in the restaurant and it was one of our favorites. Our waiter was Caleb, he was great, very friendly and very busy, but still took care of our table. Though we ordered drinks and Calwb came back to tell us they were out of the ingredient to make a drink we ordered, so disappointed we ordered something else, then we ordered food, he came back again to tell us they were out of something, again had to change our order to something else, then they came back out the 3rd time to tell us they were out of baked potatoes next, this is 3 times in one meal that they are out of things! Also one of our entrees wasn't cooked right so had to send it back not once but twice.. never once did a manager come talk to our table, apologize, give a discount or a appetizer. Probably won't be back for a while.
The food was very good, the service was excellent. At 515pm, we didn't wait for a table for 5. We had a great experience!
