Stopped while traveling and ordered all star breakfast. Waffles were flat and eggs were not scrambled completely. Grits were good. As I waited for my order I started noticing the filthy windows and floor with food scraps and crumbs. The wall next to me was rusty and greasy. Good thing I cleaned the table with wipes before I ate. Also had to clean salt and pepper shakers. Had I not been tired and hungry I would have left. Afterwards I was sick at my stomach because I had never eaten in such a filthy place. I didn’t realize there were two more waffle houses in the area. I drove by a different one where the windows appeared clean and building newer.
Despite bad talk about Waffle House this one was enjoyable. The food, (breakfast) was great and a lot of it. Service was good and consistent. Staff hustled to take care of guests at all times.
Food was good but place was unhygienic. It was the only breakfast place in the town and I pretended like I did not see all the chaos when having my breakfast. I was very hungry.
The cook was quick and the food was prepared how I ordered it. The service was slow. Our order set in cook station for at least 10 to 15 minutes. We were the only four people in the place. Needless to say our food was cold. Will not be going back.
Despite the bad reviews, we decided to give this place a try. We are glad we went! The eggs were delicious, reminded me of my late grandmothers eggs. Was waited on by a wonderful polite man with great manners. All of our food was delicious!
Went to this location to dine in and security came out and told us that they were down. I waited for a few minutes and noticed that there were employees sitting in the car. Help me understand the “We are down part!”
My favorite place for a home style breakfast. Great for travelers, as there is usually one in every town, close to the highway!
This place is a classic, I love it every time.
This waffle house is the worse. They never pick up the phone. That is normal so we went to the store to make an order, employee was in a car outside and told us they are down. Drove by his car when we left smelled , well I am sure you can figure it out. Good job at hiring these employees waffle house. Will never go back to this location.
The food was good and cooked to our requests. The waitress was professional and friendly. We enjoyed our visit. Thank you. Would recommend this place to others for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
