Great place for lunch as we were passing thru Vicksburg. The fried catfish, onion rings and fried green tomatoes will not disappoint. Will be coming back next time we are this way.

Fabulous blackened fish and shrimp. Best onion rings ever!

I’m only giving one star because the service was good. The waitress was really sweet, however the food was awful. My husband ordered fish and it wasn’t cooked all the way. My son ordered cheese sticks and the cheese was still cold. The food just wasn’t good at all.

After reading the good reviews we decided to try this place. Very disappointed. It’s nothing more than an old bar with mediocre food. They allow smoking but not until 3pm, which made little difference as the entire bldg is permeated with disgusting cigarette smoke! We had bacon cheeseburgers on the recommendation of our waitress. I had fries, my husband had onion rings. The Hamburgers were good but nothing special. And the bacon was wayyy undercooked for me, very limp and not crispy. I couldn’t eat it, I removed it. My husband loved the onion rings. My fries were homemade but were as limp as a dish rag. Not crispy at all! Just limp potatoes. The hamburgers come open face which was nice but the condiments Came in those irritating hard to open packets, including the ketchup!!!! Really??? How hard is it to at least have little cups of mustard, Mayo etc?? It take a gazillion ketchup packets for the fries/rings.I can’t recommend this place nor will we eat there again. Have no idea how it got all those good reviews!

Looking for a late night dinner on a Monday night. Most places were closed but we found this place open. Had a good rustic, hole in the wall feel. Had some different options on the menu. We had a BLT with fried green tomatoes and of course the Vicksburg Burger (a burger between 2 grilled cheeses). They came on paper plates, so don't expect anything fancy here. But not to worry, both were very good and the service was excellent. Overall we were very happy and would come back again. Note that they do allow smoking inside in one half with large smoke eaters to deal with that. Haven't seen that in a long time.

The food and service was fantastic, but this place had some pretty major issues. The first issue I had is that smoking is allowed inside. This may be legal in that area of MS, but I would have probably avoided this place had I known before we arrived. I haven't been in any establishment in a very long time that allowed indoor smoking, and it was not a pleasant experience, so be aware if you are traveling and have sensitivity to cigarette smoke. The second issue is that they were out of about half of the food on the menu. I wanted need to go because their fried green tomatoes looked amazing on the photo we found online. They were out of them, all salad stuff, and the poboy bread. They have a beer case in the back, which is nice, but beware, as it smells strongly of fish when you open it. Also, their only toilet broke and would not flush. If we ever find ourselves in Vicksburg again, I might consider getting takeout if it is available, but I'll pass on dining in. The owner needs to invest some money into fixing up this place, deep cleaning the fridge, and put in better ventilation if they are going to continue to allow smoking indoors. It is a shame cause their Vickburger is fantastic. Their fried cauliflower was good as well.

Would give zero star if possible,. Stopped here to eat after reading the positive reviews. The steak was too tough to even cut and combined with the seasoning used by cook made the steak inedible. The fries were way too salty. Spouse was unable to eat his meal. Overall the place is just nasty in appearance. It's nothing more than a dingy smoked filled bar.

This is a gem. It looks like an old trading post. Inside, it's busy and has lots of energy. The food is great, the staff happy and the guest was signings. It almost looks like a cabin. Even the coolers had a uniqueness. Good Food, Good Drink,Good Company.

Friendly service. Fresh seafood. Tasty dishes. Stop there before or after your visit to the battlefield.

We have seen on Google reviews how wonderful Klondyke is and decided to try it. The place was busy that afternoon and the server was really nice but a little overwhelmed. Our food was wonderful and we got to meet the cook, West, because he delivered our food. So friendly and really helped make eating with Klondke fantastic.
