Great food, small place and about a 10 minute drive from the highway. Area not the greatest but we loved the owners and food.
If you are ever in Vicksburg, Mississippi, you must stop in at Solly's Hot Tamales. The Mississippi delta has a long history of serving hot tamales, and this place has the best ones. I had the Fiesta large, and it was awesome. This place also has a variety of other menu items. I highly recommend this place.
Best tamales around. My wife will attack you if you drive past this place and not stop lol.
The tamales were some of the best I've had. The restaurant is small but cozy and the people running the place definitely care about the customer
Great food, great people. America at its best. Black,white,rich ,poor all show up for the tamales. Did I mention low prices, corn , beef and characters. I've been in 50 states and all over the world in large part to check out nature, drink and food. Places like Solly's is why I keep traveling. Enjoy!

Great Tamales and Chili. Called ahead a few days to confirm if available and when picking up. Huge hit for breakfast with eggs for a group.
Oh, we love this place! It's a great slice of regional cuisine, the tamales are not like what you get in Texas, but they are so tasty. The staff is always attentive and friendly.
It was a wonderful stop here today heading to Georgia. I had the small Fiesta for lunch all the way. The food and service were top notch. The owners could not have been nicer and personable.
