We arrived just before they opened and already a crowd. I had the surf and turf and my wife had the large scallops. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection! If you’re in Vicksburg do yourself a favor and stop at Rusty’s!
SO Good! Stopped here for lunch on the way home from Gulf Shores. Staff was friendly and we had a short 30 min wait, considering it was lunch time on a Saturday, gave us time to look over the menu and the passing plates. We passed on the appetizers as the portions are very generous. Instead we both ordered the Rusty special - blackened redfish with crawfish cream sauce - light, flavorful and delicious. Includes a salad and a side, we had the green beans - fresh and flavorful (could go a little lighter on the sauce) all in all a fantastic lunch! Even splurged and tried the bread pudding - served warm- delicious! Next time we are passing through, we will stop here again!
We ate here after two locals recommend this restaurant. Great service and delicious food! Menu has a large amount of choices as well as generous portions.
the atmosphere and service were good. The food was seasoned very well. I had hawaiian chicken, green beans and salad. Everyone in my group was also very satisfied.
OMG! This place is amazing! The fried green tomatoes are to die for, the redfish, the lobster ravioli, the gator bites and then the desserts…. We had a bread pudding, coconut cream pie and the pecan pie cheesecake that was absolutely delicious!!! Prices are great for everything, portion size is good. Highly recommend Rusty’s plus you can go dressed up or casual! Just a great little spot!
We ate here and for the most part we were pleased. We started with Old Fashioned and Crabcakes. Skip the cocktail and go for a beer, The crabcakes were bland and had no chunks of crabmeat but were ok with the sauce. We got shrimp and oysters with a salad and cheese grits. The salad was pretty average and the cheese grits needed salt and were pretty tasteless. The oysters and shrimp however were outstanding! They saved this experience for us. They were fried to perfection, crisp crust and moist on the inside. We might go back just for them, but that would be the only reason
Found this place by accident and we’re glad we did. Very friendly and helpful staff and guests and delicious foods. As Brits we were overwhelmed by the portion sizes but especially loved the lobster pasta and sirloin steak. If we’d know we would have shared!
We were in town for 1 night and picked Rusty's for our lunch. It was excellect and the food was delicious.
This is a very nice place with nice employees and really good food. Great location also. their Shrimp taco's are really good too!
Great food, and lots of it. Portions are large enough to share, even the appetizers. Best Fried green tomatoes I have ever had. The crab cakes are awesome. Service super.
