We ate there last night and our food was delicious! Highly recommend this restaurant.

I ordered a hangar steak. With asparagus. There weren’t that many people in the place but the food took a long time (I ordered medium rare). When it arrived, there were fries on it instead of asparagus. Also no steak knife for the steak. And the steak had a sauce on it which was good but it wasn’t hot or even warm. The fries were hot (even though I didn’t eat them), and my steak was scarcely warm. When the waitress brought the asparagus, it looked scant (5 pieces). This place has a reputation for slow service and also has a very limited menu. I wouldn’t go there again.
Quality food, beautifully prepared.Consistently provides delicious and interesting dining at very reasonable prices for the ingredients used, and the methods of preparation.An outlier when compared to the other restaurants in this area, it’s a great small restaurant.
Had dinner there on New Year’s Eve & it was great. They had my favorite oysters on the menu. Blue point & I had the veal chop for my entree. I would definitely be back & highly recommend this place
Biscuits didn't rise, $12. Too floury, not enough butter; crumbly and hard. Was told it was because the biscuits were "home made" but they do not look like homemade southern biscuits. Shrimp and grits $18, good. Not enough grits, leaving hungry. Extremely slow service. Probably won't be back, was a really bad first impression. We had to go get food after, and we aren't people who eat a ton.
In short, the WORST service my wife and I ever experienced. For example, it took them 45 MINUTES to serve us (from being seated to being served).The waitress never apologizes for misplacing our order.The manager never apologizes for the waitress MISHAP (our misplaced order) and gave MANY excuses instead of taking responsibility for the MISHAP (or was it done intentionally).I am largely irritated by the fact that four, four customers (who came after us) ordered, eaten, and paid for their meals LONG before we were served.I can go on but I think you get my point.Don't go for the experience, just don't go.
Ate here last night. Amazing restaurant with appetizers that not only very healthy, but intriguing combinations you’ve never had elsewhere. I’m sad it will only be on rare occasions when I’m working in town that I get to eat here.
Dinner started with a wonderful appetizer, Prosciutto and Fig Flat Bread. Dinner was Fried Goat Cheese and Tomato Salad w/ Airline Chicken. And my daughter had Shrimp Polenta. Everything was delicious!
