Had the lunch buffet during a road trip here. The food was fresh and there is a nice variety of meat, vegetables, fruits, and dessert. The service was also friendly and the environment was clean. The garlic chicken, bourbon chicken, pepper steak, and rice noodles are excellent. I had a comfortable and fulfilling experience so would definitely return. Great job!
Nothing short of Amazing !!! Experience and food. Just passing through on a return trip from Branson Missouri to Houma La. Wife requested Chinese. Googled near me and the China Buffet appeared as one of the locals. I read reviews on several and this place stood out to me. Ordered by phone with great ease, took me 8 minutes to arrive and they were coming out with my order. Roast pork/Chinese vegetables combo, General Tao’s combo, both plates were full enough for each two meals, nice n spicy as it showed it would be on the menu. Added egg drop and hot n sour soups along with egg rolls. Every bit of it was amazing !! Best I have had in a very long time. Then a great addition, when I picked up my order, I gave the place a good look over. VERY CLEAN and inviting. Buffet bar is more than ample with a massive selection . We have added this little place to our to do agains when back in the area.
The buffet was the best Asian Buffet we have eaten at. Large variety of foods displayed nicely. Friendly attentive staff. We would definitely eat here again if in the area. Close to the National Military Park.
In my opinion, the one in Vicksburg, Mississippi is one of the better Chinese buffets. Although the crawfish that is offered may be pre-frozen, it is always well seasoned and easy to come out of the shell. They also serve shrimp that is prepared such that it may be consumed with the shell-on. I don't know what method is usedThe rest to prepare it but it is dang fine eatin'! of the fare on the buffet is pretty good as well. The only negative aspect is that the apparent sushi is just cream cheese, assorted veggies, maybe some real shrimp and fake crab meat mashed up and encased in white rice.
Service is great but there is no beef on the buffet. The buffet is always the same.
The food is really bad, or at least it was when I went. Was kinda hard and chewy. It's very small inside, don't let the size fool you, most of that is unused dining. I'm sure it's not a bag place all the time, but for the price (36 bucks for two) it just wasn't worth it.
I visited here yesterday Chinese Food looks good from a distance but lacks both flavor or in some cases ingredients. Had lo mein that had no meat or chicken or anything Other noodle dishes similar Takeout trays were extremely small especially got an all you can eat buffet Will not return
I ordered off the menu instead of the buffet and after getting them to sub tofu for a protein I got an edible meal but I woke up the next morning with my face so swollen my eyes almost wouldn't open. A decent Chinese restaurant shouldn't need to use this much salt. I am not sensitive to salt, that was just excessive.
Clean, great food, and awesome services. Whether you are ordering or doing the buffet, the food is always good. Their sweet tea is to die for. Always have to grab a cup.
Whenever we have an overnight stay in Vicksburg we go to this restaurant for dinner. This was our first visit since covid and since some of our other usual Chinese restaurants around the country have gone to a reduced selection we were a little apprehensive. We were very pleased to find the restaurant was even better than before. Great selection (not sure what reviewers who panned this restaurant for lack of selection wanted), FAST and EFFICIENT service, reasonable price, good food. We will be back the next time we come through. This restaurant really should have an average rating of around 4.5....NOT 3.7!
