What a wonderful place to experience Southern charm, history and hospitality.Kerry made us feel at home. Thanks so much!!!

The room was clean and pretty. The shower was updated with good water pressure. Nice pool and beautiful grounds. Friendly staff and good food - although if you are from the North the onion rings are like none I’ve ever had before. Also be advised the evening drinks and hors’doeuvres are not included.

Love, love this place. Such a beautiful home with rich history and fantastic staff.Breakfast and dinner both were great. The self paced tour you must do after breakfast. Everything is so quiet and cozy. When we come back, and we will ot will be to stay here.

I would have given 5 stars and the place was amazing ! I loved the atmosphere and the room we stayed in . I give 4 stars because they have a parking issue . Guest of the B&B should have the parking inside the gate . Those that were just dining at the restaurant were supposed to not park inside the gate . But it was not enforced although there was a sign that said guest parking only . So I'm disabled and we came back from dinner to find all the guest parking taken up by dinner guest that were not supposed to be in the guest parking. So my gripe is that when we got back to the room from dinner they told us we would have to park on the street. So my fiance , the wonderful woman she is , has to drop me off at the room and go park my brand new car on the street way down from the building our room was in . This area is not the most crime free area . So I didn't want my car parked on the street . I also couldn't walk up the large hill from the street because of my disability . I also didn't want my fiance walking all that way from the street to our room on her own . So anyway I did not like the parking situation and it needs to be fixed . No one , disabled or not wants to park Thier vehicle on the street . But, this place was amazing and I loved the mansion and pool as well as a wonderful breakfast .

Part of a hop on/hop off tour. Beautiful antebellum mansion. Quick house tour friendly owners. It is a B&B in a museum. Would love to stay there.

We stayed for 3 nights in Anchuca and we’re in Room one of the servants wing. Our room wasn’t huge but was very comfortable and had everything that you needed. It was clean and well equipped. The breakfast was huge and varied( although we do struggle with grits). The staff were friendly and helpful and the tour and video of the house were an added extra. The location is great within walking distance of the river and places to eat. We ate one night at Anchuca and that too was excellent. Highly recommended.

Lisa and Bailey (?) Are extremely nice and couldn’t be more helpful. Food was delicious. Location is very convenient short walk (.3 miles) to downtown and the river. Note that there is a spotlight outside of the annex rooms. Our room (#6) was way too light overnight and we had to rig up a makeshift curtain for the second night. If you have a large vehicle, you’re better off parking on the street. The parking lot is VERY tight.

We stayed 4 nights in the Wilson room at the Mansion. It was beautiful and spacious. Nice and quiet. It was fun to look at all the interesting artwork and decorating in the mansion which we had access to during our visit. The breakfasts were delicious and Miss Lisa was a joy, so friendly and helpful.

This is a beautiful, majestic inn. I gave this inn a 5 because the owner, Tom, has the main house set up with artifacts and reading materials. We spent some time going through it all. Tom was very friendly and knowledgable. I wish we could have returned to the living room the second night but the door was locked. Next time I hope I can stay in the main house (we were in the quarters). The amenities and linens were just average. Coffee was really good. Breakfast was eggs and cheese grits both mornings (would have liked something different on the second morning). Both days it was hot and delicious. Service was excellent. We ate dinner here and it was amazing! I had catfish and my companion had shrimp and grits. Sure do wish there was an Anchuca restaurant here in central Florida. The only thing I would change would be to blot some of the butter off the catfish before plating it. I would stay here again if I could get a room in the main house.

My teen daughters and I stayed here one night for a spontaneous girls trip to Vicksburg. We stayed in the main house in the Davis room. We loved staying here, it was like staying in a museum. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms were spacious. Breakfast was really good with good size portions. My daughter did say that the coffee was bitter. We were the only guests in the main house and loved the whole experience. If there had been others, though we would have been able to hear them, but I always bring a sound machine. My daughters slept in a room with 2 twin beds filled with lovely antiques. They both said it felt like they were in the novel "Little Women". The house shows some wear and tear, but everything was clean. The parking lot is tiny but it wasn't crowded so I was able to get my suv out. The room was a tad more than I wanted to pay, but for the experience, I figured $75 more was worth it.
