About the best food I’ve had at any restaurant, anywhere, in a long time. It all started when I made reservations for four on Thursday, for the following Saturday.I was told that all of the private dining rooms were filled, but they would book us at an open table. When we arrived and gave our name, the host said “I told you last Thursday that our private dining rooms were full, but we now have one available.” So they put us in a private dining room for four.I had already looked at the menu, and noticed that prices were a little on the high side. As it turned out, the price of the food was not that bad. However, if you drink one of their specialty cocktails, get ready to pay.I wish I could remember the waitress’ name, because she was outstanding, but I don’t. I do remember that she was from Potts Camp.I was so surprised when I couldn’t find this restaurant listed on Yelp or TripAdvisor, so I could review Grillhouse Tupelo, but couldn’t find it there at all. This was a very pleasant experience with wonderful food. All four of us commented that this was our new favorite restaurant in Tupelo.
This was a very nice, spacious, open atmosphere. They didn't have the drinks available we wanted even though it was on the menu. They did however give us an alternative to make up for it. The food was amazing, very well cooked. The pictures of local spots in tupelo and Elvis were displayed, low lighting, great music. Several options from the menu that I'd love to go back and try. Overall 4 of 5 stars and would absolutely recommend.
Very impressed with the Tupelo Grillehouse. Last night I came in for an earlier dinner and had a delicious steak and cheese sticks with a lovely salad. Staff and managers on duty very helpful and personable. Good local spot.
Kris was an amazing server!!! Manager was extremely warm and welcoming despite our larger group of 6. Filet was fantastic and my husband got the bone in ribeye and it was GREAT10/10 Will go again
We had dinner here this weekend and really enjoyed it. We had the mozzarella sticks- really big serving and were very good. I had a ribeye and my husband had the dry aged bone in ribeye. Both were delicious. Our waiter was new and not very knowledgeable but very attentive. He will be great if he gets the proper training. The only real issue we had was they added 3% to our bill when we started to pay with our Credit/debit card. This is a very high fee especially to have not been told beforehand. We opted to pay with cash. Our very inexperienced waiter tried to take care of this with his manager and in our opinion the manager should have been the one to explain the surcharge- not left it to this young inexperienced server. So, in our experience, the manager, not the server, could have been more helpful. We will definitely be back for the delicious steaks though! Cash only.
The front staff was Great. Our appetizer’s were good unfortunately our food was Soso. I ordered a 16 oz rib-eye the taste was good but it was very tough, which I ordered medium well so maybe that’s the reason. I also ordered green beans which were cold to Luke warm. We ordered a side of Mac and cheese for a 4 year old which was cold to cool. My husband had grilled shrimp skewers which were ok he said. Another persons fries were cold but they enjoyed the rest of the meal. For the price we were not pleased.
The atmosphere is great. Not to loud either. We chose dine at the bar. We were able to have a relaxing quiet conversation over appetizers, drinks and dessert. I highly recommend the Boom Boom shrimp or fried green tomato appetizers. ?
This place was Awesome! Amazing atmosphere and wonderful staff! Little pricey but definitely worth the visit! Will be going back!
Atmosphere is nice, (although the bench seating in bar is rather awkward for dining) and the service was really good. However, the quality of the the filet I received was very poor; $65 for a 10 oz filet I couldn’t cut through with a knife (our pet got about $50 worth of filet) The other items we ordered were decent, but not what we expected of a fine dining experience at these prices. The menu has great variety, but the chef is lacking in execution of what reads to be well balanced plates. We were underwhelmed.
My daughter bday dinner was here everything was good including drinks will go again check it out!
