We were traveling thru and the Neon Pig caught our eye prior to reaching Tupelo. We ordered 2 burgers and one was smashed, which is a ground mixture of different cuts of steak. The other was bashed which was ground smoked brisket with bacon jam and pickled onions. BOTH were delicious. The $2 small portion of potato salad was not good and definitely overpriced per the portion size. The order and seating process is a bit confusing. You basically seat yourself and help yourself to beverages/beers from the coolers, than someone comes to take your order.
This place makes a great burger.I got the Belvis: a smash burger + pork belly topped with Benton's bacon, pimento cheese and some sort of delicious sauce on a ciabatta bun. Also really appreciated a terrific beer selection (and some beverage coolers that you can help yourself to!).Will definitely be back next time I'm in Tupelo.
Neon Pig seems to be a staple of the area that is filled with local favorites and some of the best food in town! The Smash Burger grind had a Smokey flavor to it that seemed to come from the brisket and blends of other meats! Also ordered the parm fries that were hand cut, covered in parm, scallions, and bacon bits served with a chili style sauce!
The food was horrible, sandwich was nothing but fat and it was extremely cold, waited forever just to get the food, and way to expensive for the quality of food, employees were not helpful whatsoever and didn’t know what they were doing. Would never recommend this place to any of my friends or family. Such a let down for it to be put in a place like the winstar casino.
The food and service at this restaurant was absolutely amazing! My family and I will most definitely be coming back to eat here whenever we visit Tupelo. Staff continuously checked in with us to make sure everything was ok and we absolutely appreciated it. The establishment was clean, smelled awesome, and staff had smiles on their faces the entire time. Eat here, believe me you will not be disappointed!Thank you for the amazing service!
The half shrimp po boy, loaded fries and tea to-go was $16 and worth every penny. My order was taken quickly, the staff was attentive and very nice, and the restaurant was clean. I only waited about 8 minutes from the time I ordered until the time I had my food and out the door. The food was delicious, especially the po boy. The extra dollar for loaded fries...do it. Looking forward to trying more menu items.
From the "grab a beer and pick a seat" sign when you walk in to the super friendly staff, eating at the Neon Pig is like going to your best friends house for dinner, but your best friend doesn't make food like this. The burgers are drool worthy, the pork belly is amazing, and the portions are extremely generous. Try the chow chow, the slaw, the kimchi, just try anything, it's all delicious!
Best burger ever! I got the bash burger and hubby got the smash burger. The Cole slaw has a tingle of swang with a bit of curry - delicious. No disappointments here and walking distance from our hotel. Lots of cold beers to choose from; try a local brewery IPA.
Talk about Good food at a good price! We have picky eaters and we figured we couldn't go wrong with a burger place while driving through on spring break. My kids asked if we could come back tomorrow for lunch before we leave! The food is great, the staff was so friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming. We will definitely come back if/ when we are back in the area!
Awesome smash burger and parmesan fries!
