We were on our drive home after camping in GA Stumbled on this place. The environment is cool and the food was delicious. The wait staff were busy but super friendly and talked to us about being grandparents

Was excited to try Kermit’s as we’ve seen people waiting to get in previously. We had vegetarian dishes. Highly recommend the broccoli side, Mac & Cheese and Parmesan fries! The corn bread was dry, not tasteful. The Sweet Potato Tiki salad was just okay. Can’t comment on the barbecue but saw many order it. Might go back for the interesting margaritas combos and Parmesan fries. Recommend going and experiencing it for yourself.

Ambiance is ok. Husband got the combo trio which was decent and a good amount of food. I got the Fried Brisket sandwich. I've cooked plenty of briskets in my lifetime and this was no where near a product they should be marketing as an edible brisket. I did let the chef know that the fat to meat ratio was out of control. I couldn't even take a bite without having to fight to tear some type of meat off between the huge layers of fat. Then I had to spit out chunks of super chewy fat. She let me know that's the marbling of the brisket. No ma'am. It is not. Yall are keeping the fat cap on and using it as filler to use less of the meat. If that brisket was smoked right that fat would have been gelatinous. They did offer to make me something else. But, we were pressed for time. Needless to say, I was super disappointed. We really love their sister restaurant Neon Pig, so this was a total let down.

In Tupelo, MS for work and found this little diner in the middle of downtown. This stop needs to be worked into your itinerary. I ordered butcher burger with fries. The burger is ground smoked brisket and my mouth was in heaven! And the fries are farm grown, cut fresh in house and seasoned with Kermit's own recipe of spices. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming and the people are amazing. 10/10 highly recommended!

What on earth was everyone else experiencing? I was led here by all the good reviews but they did not represent the place at all. My party had a variety of different items that were all missing certain ingredients, such as the tacos not coming with salsa and one of the bowls not having any toppings. What made this more confusing was the addition of cucumbers to every dish, though these aren't usually standard toppings for things on tacos. The food ranged from being ok (after removing questionable toppings) to eating a bowl of cucumbers which was not complimented by the hour and a half wait it took to get the food in the first place. Afterwards one of our party became sick, which did not add to the experience. However, the garlic fries and cauliflower bites were decent options that were not covered in barbecue sauce or cucumbers or anything like that, and I would happily order those again. The people serving us were very nice and accommodating and the best thing about the experience. To improve, I'd strongly suggest simplifying the dishes when lacking food rather than adding whatever toppings are available. If there is no food available make it clear that the menu is limited and that what's described is very different from what will be received.

My dad had bloody chicken served to him , my pork sandwich was gross and the fries were burnt and again disgusting . So disappointed, just wasted our money here . Don’t eat here . You’ve been warned

great food. looking forward to going back.

Nice local spot on the downtown strip. The atmosphere was relaxed. We actually sat at the sidewalk seating on picnic tables. The food was good. My son loved the queso and fries.

Excellent spot to eat right on Main Street in Tupelo! We tried the burger which had an interesting smoky taste as well as the best seasoned cauliflower I've ever tasted! Plenty of seating outdoors where you can relax with your pups. Service was very quick and they offer a large variety of cocktails to try.

We were driving through and needed to have lunch. We were drawn in by the name. We were pleasantly surprised with the great food. We had the fresh salad with pulled chicken, corn bread, chili, and mac and cheese. If we lived here, this would be a place we would most definitely frequent.
