The service at the bar was excellent. The food was amazing. Great flavor an plenty of food
Great food (the large cheese dip is HUGE ?), good prices, decent drinks (although their lime margaritas are a pre-mixed liquid and don't seem very "strong," so don't worry about asking for something top shelf because they will just look at you weird). The server was attentive and kept water and chips filled. The only complaint (and it may have been because it was the end of the night) is we asked for the check 3 times and watched our server agree then stand to the side of the room for about 20 minutes before we finally were able to ask someone else who brought our checks. Despite that, we did have 6 forms of payment at our table which is a hastle for them I'm sure, but it was handled very well.
I’ve been to El Agave numerous times and it’s always been great service. My favorite is diabla shrimp and it’s hot to my liking. Staff and bartender Daniel are friendly and provide great service. One of the best restaurants in Tupelo.
I took my employees for a lunch out. We had a lot of fun. The price was good. The chips were delivered promptly and the staff remembered us from the 1st visit we did when they first opened! Amazing customer service!
This place has some awesome food! Our waiter was an awesome waiter too. They really do keep the restaurant clean also. NO complaints from me. I WILL be going back again. Their prices are decent too.

"One of these things is not like the other..."The food is always on point at El Agave. If you have not tried their Tomatillo sauce, the orange looking sauce in the photo, you are missing out.If you are a connoisseur or aficionado of all things spicy, you owe it to yourself to order their Tomatillo sauce at least once.Their Pomegranate Margaritas are quite the tasty treat as well.The staff is always friendly and very accommodating.
Best Mexican restaurant that I have been to in a long time. The right price for the amount of food you get. I am from out of town, but I would drive back just to eat here again. I would recommend this place to anyone. We ordered our food and got it almost immediately even when they were swamped. Staff was very courteous and made sure we had everything we needed and checked on us often. The food had excellent flavor with just enough spice.
Great atmosphere, great food & great service! It's smaller than the one in New Albany, but very welcoming. The food I'd just add food thought & or waiter was fantastic. We will be back!
